Jeremiah Stanford Jeremiah Stanford 6'1" | PG Fairfax Christian | 2027 VA is another transfer who impressed in his first year. I watched Jeremiah at Stone Bridge last year, and you could see although he was raw he was wildly talented. Jeremiah has cleaned up his game, and he makes the right decision as a passer a lot now. He is very quick and does a great job getting to the rim. Jeremiah is a true three-level scorer and averaged 14.5 PPG.

-Came away impressed with the pace from Stanford off the bounce, using his quickness to make rapid changes of direction and dribble tempo to get to his spots in the halfcourt. I liked the decisions he made in tight spaces, breaking through gaps before they are closed by help defenders and weaving through the defense to score. Stanford showed a pretty good feel for utilizing pump fakes or pivots on dribble pickups to throw the defense off balance before executing on his reads. Stanford knocked down a floater with the lefty off glass, hit midrange pull-ups, and knocked down a pair of triples in the 1H to cut the halftime lead to 5. Intriguing scoring guard prospect to keep tabs on in 2027

JJ Stanford is only a freshman playing up in the 17u division but you wouldn’t know it watching him play. His physical tools shine, especially on the defensive end where Stanford provides some stingy on-ball defense and can pick up the full length of the court. Offensively, Stanford handles the ball with poise and can knock down open shots when they’re there. Stanford is guy that needs to be on some high-major radars.

Stone Bridge PG Jeremiah Stanford Jeremiah Stanford 6'1" | PG Fairfax Christian | 2027 VA had a great season, leading Stone Bridge in points. JJ is one of the more exciting players because he has such a high ceiling. JJ has a lot of room to grow and things he needs to clean up. JJ is a great shot creator and a knockdown shooter. He has great size for a freshman guard and is a good athlete. If JJ cleans up some of the mistakes you naturally see from a young guard, like silly turnovers, and deals with some of the highs and lows in games, he will be unstoppable. JJ is ranked 19 right now, but he has the potential to get into the top 10.
