One of the more gifted athletes at the event, Brooks was one of the top scorers at the camp as he was very aggressive looking to push in transition or get to the room where he had several highlight worthy finishes. The 6’3” shooting guard is strong when he gets to the rim and finished well through contact, he played above the rim in transition and had some athletic defensive plays as well, he made shots from all over playing on and off the ball, and he showed a competitive chip that sometimes gets lost in a camp setting.

Brooks has been a player we have watched blossom over the past few years, getting better every time we watched him, and he’s looking prime for a breakout junior season at Evergreen as one of their top options this year. He had the play of the weekend with a nasty poster that sent the gym into an absolute frenzy, he got downhill relentlessly showing his ability to finish through traffic, he brought good energy defensively jumping passing lanes and moving his feet well, and if he continues on this trajectory he’ll be a name college coaches need to get familiar with!

Logan Brooks Logan Brooks 6'2" | SG Evergreen Christian | 2028 State VA is a 6’3 Combo Guard who showed why college coaches should be tracking him closely: a big and athletic guard who got downhill early and often throughout the weekend. He defended 94 feet and forced turnovers on the opposition, and didn’t allow the other team to get into their offense. He can run the 1 or the 2 and set his team up in their offense well; he will be a key player for the Evergreens squad this season.

Brooks moves up eight spots in our updated rankings and continues to establish himself as a productive, well rounded prospect. He is a capable three-level scorer with good strength and a high basketball IQ, allowing him to impact the game in a variety of ways. Brooks is an effective finisher in the paint who uses his physicality well around the basket. He also rebounds at a high level from the perimeter, consistently using his strength, instincts and activity to impact the glass.

Brooks was impressive for Evergreen Christian during the June live period. The rising junior can score at all three levels, has good strength and knows how to play. He really rebounds from the perimeter and is an effective finisher in the paint. Expect him to move up our updated 2028 rankings in the coming weeks.

Helping lead a perimeter-heavy 16U group that’s had a good deal of success this spring and summer, Brooks stood out with his ability to scale up and down the lineup on either end of the floor. He was consistently around the ball whether coming over to make plays in help defense, pushing in transition to speed up the tempo, or crashing the glass to create an extra possession. Brooks also showed nice functional athleticism as a finisher around the cup. We’ll look to see him in a different setting to see more of how he looks at his natural position, but his ability to get in where he fit in while making an impact on winning was impressive.

Brooks is an all around tweener who does a nice job impacting the game in different facets. He has a nose for coming up with rebounds and always seems to be in the proper places on the floor to secure them. Brooks showed he can be a complimentary ball handler and shows flashes as a facilitator. He has no issue getting in the mix and can play bigger than his size. Brooks does a good job getting into the paint off the bounce and defenders struggle to keep him in front of them. Looking forward to monitoring his progress.
