Pool A Most Valuable Player
[player_tooltip player_id='2140876' first='Austin' last='Luchetti'], 6-6, Jr., F, Monona Grove
Monona Grove won three games without a loss in Burlington, beating Racine St. Catherine's 59-57, Oak Creek 60-58 and Whitnall 59-57. Leading the way for the Silver Eagles in those close encounters was Luchetti, an athletic, versatile, strong and improving 6-foot-6 forward. He finished with 19 points against Oak Creek, 16 against St. Catherine's and 15 against Whitnall. Luchetti scored in transition at the rim, from three-point range and from the foul line. His ability to put points on the board inside and outside is a major plus for Monona Grove coach Dan Zweifel and also a big reason why Luchetti has picked up NCAA Division II scholarship offers from Lake Superior State and Northern Michigan. Luchetti finished some drives to the hole with two-handed dunks and is one of the most improved players in the state's very talented 2027 class.

Pool A Breakout Performer
[player_tooltip player_id='1561921' first='Tyler' last='Michalak'], 6-0, Sr., G, Whitnall
Whitnall lost some close games at the WBY Tournament in Burlington, but the play of Michalak stood out, nonetheless. After averaging 6.4 ppg as a junior on a very good Whitnall squad last winter, Michalak appears poised to take over a leadership role for the Falcons along with senior [player_tooltip player_id='2510585' first='Cooper' last='Markee'] (6-5). Michalak was particularly impressive in a 55-49 loss to Burlington as he scored 25 points, made four three-point shots and attempted 10 fouls shots, making seven. His swagger with the ball in his hands mirrors that of Whitnall's standout class of 2025 guards -- Myles Herro and Jack Lutz. Michalak had 14 points in a two-point loss to Monona Grove and also tossed in 10 in a six-point loss to Oak Creek. Michalak is a hard-nosed competitor who has very good ball handling and shooting skills.

Pool A All-Tournament Team
[player_tooltip player_id='2140987' first='Tyson' last='Busch'], 6-0, Jr., G, Oak Creek
[player_tooltip player_id='2636875' first='Noah' last='Daniel'], 6-0, Sr., G, Oak Creek
[player_tooltip player_id='2415931' first='Alex' last='Dean'], 5-10, Jr., PG, Monona Grove
[player_tooltip player_id='1959723' first='LaMont' last='Hamilton'], 6-0, Sr., G, Racine St. Catherine's
[player_tooltip player_id='2618915' first='Vincent' last='Kendall'], 6-2, Soph., G, Burlington
[player_tooltip player_id='2140876' first='Austin' last='Luchetti'], 6-6, Jr., F, Monona Grove
[player_tooltip player_id='2400311' first='Max' last='Michalak'], 6-4, Jr., F, Whitnall
[player_tooltip player_id='1561921' first='Tyler' last='Michalak'], 6-0, Sr., G, Whitnall
[player_tooltip player_id='2140934' first='Jayden' last='Phillips'], 6-0, Jr., G, Racine St. Catherine's
[player_tooltip player_id='2492539' first='Grant' last='Sulik'], 6-5, Sr., F, Burlington
[player_tooltip player_id='2415933' first='Henry' last='Thome'], 6-3, Jr., G/F, Monona Grove
[player_tooltip player_id='2504214' first='Jaquan' last='Turner'], 6-5, Jr., G, Oak Creek
[player_tooltip player_id='1561957' first='Cole' last='Walby'], 6-0, Sr., G, Burlington

Pool B standings
Greenfield 3-0, Kenosha Bradford 2-1, The Prairie School 2-1, Brookfield Academy 0-3, Elkhorn 0-3.

* Records include crossover games with Pool A.

Pool B Most Valuable Player
[player_tooltip player_id='2733016' first='Azon' last='Juarez-Quinn'], 6-6, Sr., F, Greenfield
Greenfield finished 23-4 and advanced to the WIAA Division 2 sectional semifinals before bowing to Racine Park 73-69. Juarez-Quinn was a key member of that squad as he averaged 14.0 ppg. His experience and skill were major factors in helping Greenfield to wins over Elkhorn, The Prairie School and Brookfield Academy. Juarez-Quinn had 21 points and three three-point baskets in a 53-42 win over The Prairie School. His length and activity on defense also made it tough for the Hawks to score near the basket. Jaurez-Quinn's versatility on offense and size and athleticism on defense make him one of the top players in the always-tough Woodland Conference.

Pool B Breakout Performer
[player_tooltip player_id='2426416' first='Lucas' last='O'Brien'], 6-2, Jr., G, Greenfield
O'Brien saw some significant playing time for the Hustlin' Hawks as a sophomore, and his role figures to only increase in 2025-26 as coach Ryan DePouw must replace some key players in his starting rotation. O'Brien averaged 5.0 ppg last winter and has grown a bit while also adding some strength to his frame. He scored facing the basket, off the dribble and from three-point range for Greenfield in Burlington.

Pool B All-Tournament Team
[player_tooltip player_id='2140952' first='Lazar' last='Djilas'], 6-7, Jr., F, Brookfield Academy
[player_tooltip player_id='2841632' first='Nolan' last='Greb'], 6-1, Sr., G, The Prairie School
[player_tooltip player_id='2823827' first='Montavisus' last='Griffin'], 5-11, Jr., G, Kenosha Bradford
[player_tooltip player_id='2823876' first='Naron' last='Hamp'], 5-10, Sr., G, Kenosha Bradford
[player_tooltip player_id='2947297' first='Romeo' last='Morales'], 6-0, Sr., G, Elkhorn
Patrick Morgese, 5-11, Sr., G, Greenfield
[player_tooltip player_id='2426416' first='Lucas' last='O'Brien'], 6-2, Jr., G, Greenfield
[player_tooltip player_id='2140901' first='Chandler' last='Perry'], 6-3, Jr., G, The Prairie School
[player_tooltip player_id='2733016' first='Azon' last='Juarez-Quinn'], 6-6, Sr., F, Greenfield
[player_tooltip player_id='2915730' first='Eddie' last='Schoyer'], 6-4, Sr., F, Brookfield Academy
[player_tooltip player_id='2371709' first='Mikey' last='White'], 5-10, Jr., G, Kenosha Bradford

Pool C standings
Edgerton 3-0, Milwaukee Audubon Tech 2-1, Union Grove 2-1, Franklin Black 1-2, South Milwaukee 0-3.

* Records include crossover games with Pool A.

Pool C Most Valuable Player
[player_tooltip player_id='2508634' first='Vincent' last='Fox'], 6-0, Jr., G, Edgerton
Fox isn't a huge scorer, but his impact for the Crimson Tide almost always ends up being big as he makes smart decisions with the ball, can guard multiple positions and makes shots at crunch time. The son of Edgerton coach Daryl Fox, [player_tooltip player_id='2508634' first='Vincent' last='Fox'] plays like a coach on the floor as he is consistent with his ability to move the ball, spot up and score, and attack to draw defenders. Fox moves well on defense and is not afraid to take on the challenge of guarding a bigger opponent. Also a standout tennis player, Fox figures to be a primary figure in the Edgerton lineup the next two seasons.

Pool C Breakout Performer
[player_tooltip player_id='2442264' first='Tyler' last='Johnson'], 6-4, Soph., F, Union Grove
Johnson is a long, athletic and improved wing prospect with stellar jumping ability. He finished several drives to the basket with thunderous dunks in Burlington and scored at a high level for the Broncos. Johnson had 17 points in a 41-32 loss to Edgerton, finding the bottom of the net from three-point range, the foul line and above the rim. He added 16 points in a win over Franklin Black and 10 in a triumph over South Milwaukee.

Pool C All-Tournament Team
Benno Backhaus, 6-1, Sr., G, Edgerton
Mitchell Coombs, 5-10, Sr., G, Edgerton
Ivan Cotto, 5-9, Sr., G, South Milwaukee
[player_tooltip player_id='2140908' first='Damir' last='Ellis'], 5-7, Jr., G, Audubon Tech
[player_tooltip player_id='2508634' first='Vincent' last='Fox'], 6-0, Jr., G, Edgerton
[player_tooltip player_id='2420131' first='Daijohn' last='Hughes'], 6-3, Sr., F, Audubon Tech
Jackson Boldey, 6-0, Jr., G, Franklin Black
Josiah Jones, 6-2, Jr., G/F, South Milwaukee
[player_tooltip player_id='2442264' first='Tyler' last='Johnson'], 6-4, Soph., F, Union Grove
Colton Tajnai, 6-0, Jr., G, Union Grove

Pool D standings
Saint Francis 3-0, Pecatonica 2-1, Burlington Catholic Central 2-1, Rosholt 1-2, Gillett 0-3.

* Records include crossover games with Pool E.

Pool D Most Valuable Player
[player_tooltip player_id='2487657' first='Sam' last='Fait'], 6-4, Jr., G, Catholic Central
A talented player who can score at a high level, Fait has taken big strides in providing strong leadership and encouragement for a young Catholic Central squad. Fait, who averaged 29.0 ppg as a sophomore, once again put up big point totals as he finished with 25 in a 40-37 win over Rosholt, 16 in a triumph over Gillett and 31 in a loss to Pecatonica. As usual, Fait scored from deep, off the bounce and from the foul line. But the most noticeable advancement in his game was his on-court maturity and positive attitude.

Pool D Breakout Performer
[player_tooltip player_id='2621236' first='Griffin' last='Noll'], 6-3, Jr., G, Pecatonica
A smooth lefty with a soft shooting stroke and solid ball handling/passing skills, Noll played three very strong games for Pecatonica in Burlington. He had 25 points and four threes in a win over Catholic Central, 30 and three triples in a win over Kingdom Prep, and 12 points in a loss to vastly improved Saint Francis. Noll has grown an inch or so since the end of the high school season, and his lanky frame figures to add some muscle and weight over the next 12 months, making him an even better player heading into his senior campaign.

Pool D All-Tournament Team
[player_tooltip player_id='2912952' first='Marty' last='Anderson'], 5-11, Jr., G, Pecatonica
[player_tooltip player_id='2487657' first='Sam' last='Fait'], 6-4, Jr., G, Catholic Central
Quinn Graf, 6-0, Sr., G, Catholic Central
[player_tooltip player_id='2405555' first='Josh' last='Green'], 6-1, Jr., G, Saint Francis
Jedric Herzog, 6-2, Sr., F, Gillett
Dai'lend Jett, 6-0, Jr., G, Saint Francis
Marcus Kohl, 6-2, Sr., G/F, Rosholt
[player_tooltip player_id='2621236' first='Griffin' last='Noll'], 6-3, Jr., G, Pecatonica
[player_tooltip player_id='2892040' first='E'lonte' last='Wright'], 6-8, Jr., F, Saint Francis

Pool E standings
Cambridge 2-1, Kenosha St. Joseph 2-1, Shoreland Lutheran 2-1, Kingdom Prep Lutheran 1-2, Neillsville 0-3.

* Records include crossover games with Pool D.

Pool E Most Valuable Player
[player_tooltip player_id='2508296' first='Christopher' last='Kenesie'], 6-0, Jr., G, Kenosha St. Joseph
Like older brother, Eric, [player_tooltip player_id='2508296' first='Christopher' last='Kenesie'] does most of his damage on the basketball court with his toughness, grit and smarts. He is a physical backcourt performer who can score, distribute and rebound. Kenesie, who also excels in football and baseball, might end up playing college football, but his presence on the court is a must for St. Joseph coach Kyle Clark as he makes play after play on both ends of the court. His biggest scoring total was a 25-point outburst in a narrow loss to Kingdom Prep Lutheran.

Pool E Breakout Performer
[player_tooltip player_id='2492535' first='Andrew' last='Hoeser'], 6-6, Sr., F, Neillsville
Hoeser is a skilled frontline prospect who can make perimeter shots, snare rebounds and defend in the lane. He scored in double figures in each contest for Neillsville and is coming off a junior campaign where he averaged 17.6 ppg for coach Mike Gaier. Hoeser is a three-year varsity performer heading into his senior season and is one of the more skilled forwards in central Wisconsin.

Pool E All-Tournament Team
[player_tooltip player_id='2714923' first='Oscar' last='Brown'], 6-2, Soph., G/F, Cambridge
Ty'zire Briley-Carter, 5-9, Frosh., PG, Kingdom Prep Lutheran
[player_tooltip player_id='2354009' first='Reymundo' last='Garibay'], 5-11, Soph., G, Kenosha St. Joseph
[player_tooltip player_id='1561917' first='Owen' last='Hahm'], 6-1, Sr., G, Shoreland Lutheran
[player_tooltip player_id='2492535' first='Andrew' last='Hoeser'], 6-6, Sr., F, Neillsville
[player_tooltip player_id='2758142' first='Jett' last='Horton'], 6-1, Sr., G, Cambridge
[player_tooltip player_id='2459386' first='Lavant' last='Johnson'], 6-2, Soph., F, Kingdom Prep Lutheran
[player_tooltip player_id='2401618' first='Eric' last='McCray'], 5-10, Soph., G, Kenosha St. Joseph
[player_tooltip player_id='2404952' first='Cal' last='Nottestad'], 6-4, Sr., F, Cambridge
[player_tooltip player_id='2724938' first='Landon' last='Rakestraw'], 5-9, Soph., PG, Neillsville
[player_tooltip player_id='2831276' first='Johnny' last='Roehl'], 6-1, Jr., G, Shoreland Lutheran
[player_tooltip player_id='2631452' first='Myles' last='Zawacki'], 6-3, Sr., G, Kingdom Prep Lutheran
