Top Unsigned North Eastern Wisconsin Seniors

We have made it to August, and although the class of 2027 has several top end commitments to division one and division two programs, there are plenty of incoming seniors that have yet to make their college plans official. I got a chance to catch up with some of the high school coaches, AAU coaches, and players from the area that are looking to make an impact at the next level. This article will highlight some of those top uncommitted student athletes.   Here are my top unsigned players from the area that deserve to be recognized:    Ramczyk is an impressive lead guard for the Hawks out of Xavier in Appleton, WI. Playing with a talented ElevateUAA club in the spring and summer, Ramczyk was able to raise his profile to gather interest from some high level d2s and low major d1s. Logan is an incredible defensive player and on the ball with his ability to play passing lanes, pick his defender on the ball, and athletically rebounds well for his size. Offensively, the six-foot-two senior is excellent at initiating offense and makes elite decisions out of PNR. Logan is poised for a massive senior season for Xavier, and will be one of the better next level players on this list.   Schools that have checked or have shown recent interest lately in Ramcyzk: Bellermine, Army, Florida Gulf Coast, Mankato, Northern Michigan, Hillsdale     Krueger is the best shooter on this list, and when locked in from deep, Will's shooting ability resembles the high school version of Klay Thompson for his Redbird squad out of De Pere. Krueger made a jump from Wisconsin Legends to ElevateUAA towards the end of the club season, as his profile continued to rise on the travel circuit scene. Krueger in addition to his catch and shoot ability, is deadly off the 1-2 pull-up, can finish with crafty moves at the rim, and is a great defender on the defensive side of the ball. The six-foot-five guard/wing has a translatable skillset for the next level with his skill set and positional size at the two spot.   Krueger has gathered a lot of interest from the division two level and is expected to commit by the end of the summer.     An absolute interior force, Brady quite frankly is nearly unstoppable when he gets the ball in the post. The six-foot-ten center from small town school, Tigerton has gotten better over the spring and the summer high school and aau sessions. James has worked on his mobility, as he was able to guard pick and roll situations better throughout the summer. Brady compliments his good footwork and touch in the post, with his ability to pass out of double teams if and when teams adjust to his scoring inside. Brady is capable of converting shots from the line and stepping out to hit shots when left open. One thing you cannot teach is size, and Brady has plenty of it. Do not be surprised if a scholarship or strong division three program comes in late to pick up a commitment from Brady this upcoming season.   Schools that have checked or have shown recent interest lately in Brady: Elmhurst, Lakeland, Platteville     After getting a chance to see Samson on the club scene and the scholastic events this summer, one word sums up Samson's game: consistency. Carson is tremendous at running the show for the Phantoms, and doing so with poise and confidence. Samson has a very quick first step, allowing him to weave through defenses in both the half court and transition- finding open teammates or converting easy ones at the rim. The West De Pere prospect has been a defensive anchor for them in his time as a varsity player. Samson's natural quickness and nose for the ball, makes him a nightmare for his matchup. Carson does not have a lot of flash to his game, but he makes up with his ability to protect the basketball, shoot the three at a high clip, and lead by example for WDP.   Schools that have checked or have shown recent interest lately in Samson: Concordia (WI), Lawrence, Loras, and Platteville     Notre Dame has the backcourt twin duo with AJ and Austin Hendricks. AJ is deadly out of the mid range, especially when he gets to his spot going to his left. Additionally In the UA rise sessions, it was not uncommon to see AJ drills three point buckets off of PNR, DHOs, and on drive/ kick opportunities. Hendricks is a great rebounder for his size and can impact the game on the glass on both the offensive and defensive boards. AJ and his brother, are big pieces coming back for the Tritions, as he will look to build on his 15.6ppg, 6.4rpg, and 40.5% 3 statline for his senior season.   Schools that have checked or have shown recent interest lately in Hendricks: Bethel, MSOE, Lakeland, Platteville, Wisconsin Lutheran, Saint John's and Lawrence.     Feske had an outstanding spring and summer with both his high school team, Seymour, and his aau club, [program_tooltip program_id='2512324' first='Wisconsin' last='Legends']. Feske punches above his height as he is able to play in the paint with his strength, athleticism, overall skill. The six-foot-three senior has developed other parts of his game, and taken his strengths to another level in the last three months. In the opportunities I was able to see Feske play this summer, he has shot the ball extremely well from the perimeter, put guys on posters, and defends multiple positions at a high level. Isaac will take on a bigger role this year for Seymour as some key pieces have graduated, but overall the Thunder will be a very good basketball team this upcoming season. Feske might be a bit undersized positionally, but has the potential to be an impactful player at the next level.   Schools that have checked or have shown recent interest lately in Feske: St. Norbert, and a good chunk of the WIAC schools.     Suehs, much like James Brady on this list has something you cannot teach, massive size. Jayden, although being seven feet tall, moves exceptionally well as an athlete in pick and roll defensive opportunities, in transition, and in the half court. Not many big guys have the bounce Suehs has as he is able to throw down thunderous dunks and deny shots at the rim. Still developing some of his strength and inside footwork, Suehs' athletic ability and other skills will lead to a program gaining his commitment. The prospect out of Stevens Point High School, has seen an uptick in recruitment interest as he competed well for Matt Bredesen and the Wisconsin Swing this club season. Suehs could be a highly productive college prospect with time and development in the right system at the next level.   Schools that have checked or have shown a lot of recent interest lately in Suehs: NAIA Rocky Mountain, Upper Iowa, Purdue Northwest, SEMO     Wesenberg, who was already a scoring prolific scorer at Bonduel, will be asked to shoulder more of the scoring load as all-time leading scorer Ryan Westrich has graduated and moved on to play football at Western Michigan. Westrich's reign of being the leading scorer may only last about nine months, as Wesenberg is poised to have a monster year for the Bears in the scoring column. A knock down shooter, Quinn is an efficient, strong, skilled, and is an athletic left handed two guard with a college ready frame. During the moments where I was able to watch him play this summer, I have seen Wesenberg's overall tools rise to another level. Shooting and positional size is something Midwest D2 and D3 schools covet, so don't be surprised if Wesenberg makes an immediate impact at the next level.   Schools that have checked or have shown recent interest lately in Wesenberg: Michigan Tech, Hillsdale, Oshkosh, Concordia, Bethel, Platteville, Eau Claire, Wheaton, Northwestern Minnesota, Stevens Point.     Out of this group of prospects, I believe that Reinke is one of the most underrecruited of the bunch and will be steal at the next level. When I had a chance to watch him this spring and summer, Reinke most noticeably impacts the game on both ends with his athleticism and strength. Brayden plays above the rim: swatting shots on drives and throwing down powerful dunks in traffic. Reinke, who plays more of a wing, has point guard tendencies with his outstanding court vision and unselfish demeanor on the court. Reinke shot above 50% on threes with a lesser amount of attempts, but in my evaluation, Reinke will be able to be a consistent shooter from the perimeter at the next level. With his improved shooting, and his ability to get to the cup at will, Reinke is a tough guard for opposing defenders. With an already impressive high school career, Reinke will look to build on his monster junior campaign in which he averaged 20.6ppg 9.2rpg, 3.9apg, 2.7spg, 1.3bpg.   Schools that have checked or have shown recent interest lately in Reinke: Augsburg, Saint John's, Oshkosh and La Crosse.     Meyer is a desired prospect with his ability to impact the game in multiple ways. The rising senior from Bay Port High School, Meyer demonstrates his ability to be versatile on the offensive end with his passing, interior post moves, and his outside shooting. The six-foot-nine prospect is very capable of guarding in pick and roll situations, a skill that is highly coveted by scholarship schools at the next level. In the 2027 class where a lot of the top end bigs are committed to division 1 schools, Meyer is one of the better frontcourt players that is still available. The Pirates graduated quite a bit of experience and scoring production in their outgoing 2026 class, but Meyer is ready to bring his game to the next level to make impact plays on the offensive and defensive end.   Schools that have checked or have shown recent interest lately in Meyer: Northern Michigan, Hillsdale, Pittsburgh State, Army, Cornell, New Mexico State, UW Milwaukee, and Northern Colorado University.     One of the intangible traits coaches look for at the next level are leadership and composure, both of which Kolstad possess as the floor general for the Tigers and head coach Chris Fischer . A long lineage of talented guards have gone through the halls at Marshfield High School, Kolstad is the "next up" to break out for his senior year. Camden played for a very talented [program_tooltip program_id='2076033' first='Wisconsin' last='Playmakers'] club team, but still found ways to impact the game in a different role he will play on his high school team. Kolstad can shoot the cover off the basketball, create shots for his teammates, has a high basketball IQ with cutting off the ball, and can lock down offensive players on the defensive end. The six-foot-two guard was impressive on the circuit and the scholastic event: June Jam, in Appleton in June over the summer. Most importantly Kolstad cares the most about winning and he does just about everything he can do on the court to impact this important stat.   Schools that have checked or have shown recent interest lately in Kolstad: Stout, Platteville, Eau Claire, St. Norbert, Bethel.     Austin Hendricks is open when he steps into the gym. Hendricks has a very quick release, and has video game range to knock down shots if left open or lightly contested. Oftentimes in the flow of the game you will see Hendricks bury a plethora of corner threes, and then adjust to closeouts to rip to the basket, or hit step back threes going to his left. In addition, his offensive game features a great footwork package in which Austin can pivot, shot fake, and spin to finish at the rim with his size and athleticism. A true two-way guard, Austin received first team all conference honors, and defensive honors for his play on the defensive end as well. Hendricks has the potential to be a very steady and consistent player at the next level.
