Krueger has the desired blend of skill, size and smarts each time he competes. He is a cerebral player who picks his spots to impact a game and once he does, it becomes deadly for the opponent. Krueger is an outstanding shooter from beyond the three-point arc, one of the best in the state as he made 89 of 190 tries last winter for a robust 47 percent. The Player of the Year in the Fox River Classic Conference averaged 17.2 points and 5.0 rebounds for the strong De Pere program and played well for Wisconsin Legends in the spring. He is switching over to ElevateUAA for July and currently owns NCAA Division II scholarship offers from Lake Superior State, Michigan Tech, Northern Michigan and Winona State.

Krueger definitely is a marked man for the Wisconsin Legends 17U squad and as such attracts plenty of defensive attention. However, the skilled, bouncy wing nonetheless has risen to the occasion for most of the spring for his squad. His feel for the game is outstanding as he takes and makes good shots, is a willing passer and competes on the defensive end and on the glass. With three offers from NCAA Division II programs now in hand, Krueger looks to add to his list of options with strong play during the May live period and then again in June and July. He is the returning Player of the Year in the Fox River Classic Conference.

The ROCK Spring Classic attracted a number of coaches from NCAA Division II schools, and they definitely were locked in on watching Krueger, one of the top shooters in the state’s loaded 2027 class. And Krueger did not disappoint as he had 18 points, including three triples and a monster dunk to end the game while leading the Wisconsin Legends to a 64-48 win over Chapman Basketball Academy North. Krueger’s size, skill and bounce are impressive, but his basketball IQ and ability to play so well within the team concept might be even bigger assets for the Legends.

De Pere had an off night for their high standards in their program, but the 6’5 junior did not. Krueger who is ranked #20 in the 2027 class, led all scorers in the contest with 20 points. Will has a near perfect jump shot with great rotation on the ball, quick load, and hand positioning on the ball. There is a reason the rising junior is shooting over 40% from 3 this season. Krueger had De Pere rolling early, scoring 13 points in the first seven minutes of the game. Will is a true offensive weapon that get downhill, pull up from the midrange, and knock down threes at a high clip. I saw very few of Krueger’s shots actually touch the rim demonstrating Will’s smooth jumper and efficient scoring skillset. Krueger is a fluid athlete with length and absolutely should be on the radar of every D2 and D3 school in the Midwest this club season. Krueger competes on a very talented Wisconsin Legends team and should continue to pick up buzz as the AAU season progresses this summer.
