With noticeable size on Weerts has no trouble winning on defense, boxing out and getting defensive rebounds with ease. His size also allows him to shutdown the paint getting in the way of opponents and making it difficult to get to the rim. On offense Weerts picks up easy buckets in the post and grabs offensive boards for second chance looks.
