I’ve been impressed with Williams ability to impact the game on both ends of the court from the first time I watched him play at Spire and he continues to impress even against top competition. Williams has the physical frame and athleticism to be an impact defender and his best defensive play came when he blocked a shot and then sprinted down the court and finished on the fast break with a slam dunk. Williams has become a priority for mid major programs and I expect him to draw a lot of attention during the live period this coming weekend.

Another steady performance from Williams who breaks the game down well and is always finding a way to get a pass in a tight gap. He added two 3 pointers and found opportunities to score from two in a plethora of ways. Williams converted at the foul line. He has the ability to make plays whenever he has the rock in his hands.

Williams is a crafty guard who does a good job getting to different spots off the bounce and setting teammates up for success. Williams uses his strength to bully his way to different spots. He added 3 three pointers and finished with 13 points. He applies good ball pressure and can come up with rebounds and steals. He has been steady every time I have evaluated him this season.

The first time I watched Williams I was impressed with his ability as a connective wing to attack closeouts, use his quick twitch athleticism and make plays on both ends. As I’ve seen him progress this fall, I’ve seen him become more confident as a primary ball handler and playing with pace. Williams has seen his recruitment start to take off in the past few months and I expect that interest to continue to grow.

Williams has shown clear improvement each of the three times I’ve watched him this season. This game I saw some growth in his pace and ball handling ability. Williams was showing more confidence as a creator on the ball and was switching speeds in a more dynamic way on the ball. While his growth as a ball handler was evident, I did want to see Williams make a few more live dribble passes to set teammates up in the halfcourt. A minor nitpick of a player who is on an upward trajectory, I expect Williams to find that balance as the season progresses. Combine that with his athleticism, creativity as a finisher at the rim and some impact defensive plays and Williams was impressive in a variety of ways.

Spire was dominant in a win over Flyght Academy and I could’ve picked a handful of players to spotlight (Sean Register was a 2025 standout) but I went with Williams. His overall activity on both ends of the court was impressive. Defensively, Williams forced a handful of turnovers with pressure and overall activity. He quickly turned defense into offense and made the simple reads for easy baskets. When you force turnovers, play fast and decisive and don’t care who scores the basketball, you give yourself the chance to blow out an opponent like what Spire did on Sunday. Great overall team effort that is a stepping stone for tougher challenges that are coming soon for their team.

The second Atlanta area native to make the move to Spire, Williams was impressive on Monday morning. A wing guard with good length and a high feel for the game, Williams made some nice extra passes and could impact the game defensively. Off the dribble, Williams was able to attack closeouts and create separation. Want to see more ball handling and perimeter shooting from Williams during my next watch of his but he looked the part of a Division I prospect and already holds offers from Kent State and Stetson.

He’s a sharpshooter who keeps the ball on a string. Williams has a handle he can use to punish defenses in various ways. He finished the June period with a barrage of 30-point performances. Averaging 25.5 ppg for June, he possesses a very advanced game for his age group. Williams can read his defender during a variety of set-up dribbles. Great shooter but extremely deadly from the wing spot and doesn’t need much space. Also uses his shifty dribbling to penetrate the defense and absorb contact. Williams is listed as an SF based on his size for his age, and can take PG responsibilities. He is taking his game to The Spire Institute (OH) for this upcoming season.

Continues to ascend as one of 2026’s best wings. Constant motor. Shoots the three well. Hardnosed slasher. Consistent offensive rebounder. Williams does a lot well and has a balanced game both offensively and defensively. Recorded 14 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists against the Atlanta Timberwolves , draining a pair of threes in the process.

Plays exceptionally hard. Crashes in for rebounds and attacks the hoop from the wing. Makes effort plays on both ends of the ball. Long-armed defender guards inside and out. Knocks down the corner three.
