4A Section 5 Season Prospect Update

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Maple Grove</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2126467' first='Baboucarr' last='Ann'] - The six-foot-five-inch 2027 Ann was recently ranked nationally at 64 and he is our #1 player in Minnesota. Ann has shown good ability to finish on attacks going to the basket, find space from defenders and separate in the half-court, and making jump shots is separating him from others as he works towards what could be a huge summer for him. Ann is sitting at 20.4 points per game through 19 games.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Babouann/status/2016704621972988175 </div></figure>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2126108' first='Jack' last='Thelen'] - The seven-foot 2027 center Thelen manages to do exactly on defense what he should, take up a ton of space and make the court feel small. His large stature makes blocking shots and grabbing rebounds an easier task, but Thelen for his size runs the floor well, an ability that Thelen has improved over the years. Thelen has shown a solid ability to take and make mid-range shots, and his back to the basket game is improving. Thelen is averaging 14.4 points per game and 9.7 rebounds.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1560739' first='Max' last='Iversen'] - The six-foot-three-inch 2026 transfer from Delano is scoring 17.6 points for the Crimson while being their de facto lead guard. The NDSU committed guard shoots a high percentage from the perimeter, can attack off the dribble, and has good passing vision.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/FreshCoastHoops/status/2011527296033964240 </div></figure>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1960892' first='Henry' last='Knutson'] - The six-foot-four-inch 2026 Knutson will give a team just about everything, a few scores with good outside shooting, grab rebounds, hand out a couple assists, collect a steal and might block a shot. While Knutson's scoring is down from 10 a game last season at 7.3 he's still grabbing 6 rebounds for the Crimson.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2126442' first='Bennett' last='Cizadlo'] - Cizadlo is a six-foot-six-inch 2027 wing that runs the floor very well and can finish above the rim often. Cizadlo shows ability to shoot from the perimeter and has good overall skills and instincts. Fuye runs the floor effortlessly, has a high motor, and his length makes him a dangerous rim finisher. On JV at the end of January against Hopkins the sophomore scored 12 points and 7 rebounds, 17 points against Tartan, and against Wayzata in the middle of January he had 7 points and 11 rebounds.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2416035' first='Ben' last='Banwart'] - The six-foot-three-inch 2028 Maple Grove guard impressed me all summer playing with a Hoop Habits team. Banwart showed tough driving ability and good outside shooting touch. On JV Banwart scored 11 points against Hopkins, 13 points against Rochester Mayo, 11 points against Edina, and 19 points against Hopkins while also grabbing 5 rebounds and handing out 4 assists.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2397567' first='Brody' last='Cook'] - Cook is a six-foot-three-inch 2028 sophomore playing JV at Maple Grove. Cook impressed this summer playing with Hoop Habits with his outstanding outside shooting ability. On JV versus Hopkins he scored 12 points recently and in a low scoring 39-38 win over Eden Prairie he had 14 points to lead.</p>   <p>Others to check out: [player_tooltip player_id='2402042' first='Akan' last='Berisso'], [player_tooltip player_id='2853761' first='Drew' last='Holmquist']</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Spring Lake Park</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1560865' first='Nolan' last='Myren'] - The six-foot-three-inch 2026 senior Myren who leads Spring Lake Park in scoring at 28 points per game, and also the Panthers lead creator. As a scorer, Myren has scored 20 in every single charted game so far which is 14. Also valuable to Myren is scoring and leading the charge offensively there, he is a creator as well anchoring the offense. <br></p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/FreshCoastHoops/status/2018406523005809098 </div></figure>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2126461' first='Cal' last='Spencer'] - The 2027 Spencer is averaging 14.3 points per game for the Panthers. Earlier this season the five-foot-eleven-inch guard showed off his deep shooting ability with a 38 point game versus Armstrong when he made seven 3-pointers. Spencer has scored in double figures 10 of his 14 games this season.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2382259' first='Aaron' last='Jeppson'] - The six-foot-ten-inch Jeppson can at times use his height and length well in the paint and around the basket for easy inside scores. Walter missed the early part of the season due to injury. Walter is a good perimeter shooter with good shooting ability from the mid-range as well as beyond the arc. His height gives him advantage to shoot over defenders and also on the defensive side as he can help inside.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/FreshCoastHoops/status/2015071782277898521 </div></figure>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1560760' first='Kyler' last='Pust'] - The five-foot-eleven-inch 2026 guard from Champlin Park really stepped up early in the season scoring for the Rebels. On the season the senior is scoring 16.5 points. In a win in January over Spring Lake Park Pust scored 22. Pust's off the dribble perimeter shooting has been an improvement this season and he's showing more patience on drives.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/KylerPust/status/2010430511882338392 </div></figure>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2352576' first='Moussa' last='Dukuly'] - 2028 Champlin Park guard Dukuly has really stepped up his scoring consistency with 11 of his 16 games with at least 10 points. On the season he's averaging 13 points with a high of 27 points versus Armstrong in a 86-78 win for the Rebels. Dukuly, a six-foot-two-inch guard has shown a literal leap in athleticism with finishing above the rim in terrific fashion and is contributing to the Rebels in other ways as well. He's grabbing at least 3 rebounds and getting 4 assists in multiple games.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/mdukuly3/status/2020557369248252019 </div></figure>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2175452' first='Great' last='Emadamerho'] - Emadamerho is a six-foot-five-inch 2026 senior wing who is committed to play college basketball at Dakota Wesleyan University. The senior is scoring 11 points a game for the Rebels and that doesn't tell the impact Emadamerho has on the floor. He can guard multiple positions with his size and length and rebounds the ball well.</p>   <p>Others to look for: [player_tooltip player_id='1560756' first='Pierless' last='Davis'], a 2026 guard scoring  8.8 points a game and 2028 sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2556742' first='Charlie' last='Howe'] is scoring 7 points per game.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Osseo</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2524650' first='Kwatamah' last='Silikpoh'] - The five-foot-ten-inch 2027 Osseo guard is one of the fastest end-to-end players with the ball in the junior class. Once Silikpoh gets out in transition there's not a lot you can do to prevent him from getting to the basket. Kwa's improved perimeter scoring and shooting has enabled him to lead Osseo in scoring at 17 points per game so far this season.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1560826' first='Joel' last='Saah'] - Saah is a six-foot-two-inch 2026 Osseo guard that is averaging 13.5 points per game. Saah is a guard that has good quickness with the ball and on the perimeter as a defender. This summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] he showed he can run and control the offense while setting up his teammates for scores in multiple ways.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2126472' first='Owen' last='Counce'] - The 2027 Counce is scoring 14.5 points per game for Osseo so far. The five-foot-nine-inch guard has good quickness with the ball and at times can really score it. Aitkin fits as an additional ball handling guard and helps relieve your primary creator. Shows solid pull-up mid-range off the dribble skill, and can make multiple 3-pointers for your team.</p>    <p>Reid Defeyter - Defeyter is a six-foot-two-inch 2027 guard that is scoring 13.1 points per game for Mounds View. Defeyter shows ability to score on the perimeter and from the perimeter with solid shooting ability. When driving Defeyter shows good foot skills when in the paint to get scores.</p>    <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2140688' first='Rylan' last='Happel'] - Happel is a five-foot-eleven-inch 2027 junior guard for the Mustangs that is scoring 12.6 points per game. Happel shows good court awareness and can run an offense in the traditional point guard sense, setting the offense and moving the ball. Happel has the ability to play off the ball and makes an impact with his perimeter shooting ability.</p>   <p>Prospect to look for: 2028 sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2225509' first='Dominic' last='Barrett'].</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Roseville </h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2880161' first='Micah' last='Wiskus'] - Wiskus is a six-foot-one-inch 2027 guard from Roseville who's averaging 19.3 points. Wiskus a good perimeter shooter, especially when spotted up, doesn't need a lot of dribbling to get his shots and doesn't need much time or space to release from the perimeter.</p>    <p>Carer Brenden - Brenden is a perimeter shooting 2026 senior for Roseville that is averaging 16.5 points per game. In a game against Centennial when Jacobs scored 25 points for Park Center he showed a bunch of different offensive skills. Jacobs hit two spotted up 3-pointers and two mid-ranges pull-ups off the dribble. Then Jacobs went to work in transition getting out in front of defenders and even once picking off a pass in the backcourt and racing for an athletic score.In the half-court he can put the ball on the floor as well and finish through contact.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2847647' first='Paris' last='Kyles'] - The 2030 8th grader is averaging around 10 points per game for the Pirates and recently Blaine Kyles had 17 points while making three 3-pointers. Earlier this season against Roseville he scored 13 points while making four 3-pointers.</p>    <p>Freshman to watch: [player_tooltip player_id='2815903' first='Tchidi' last='Ejimadu'], [player_tooltip player_id='2917761' first='Tracell' last='Jackson'], [player_tooltip player_id='2848504' first='Liam' last='Jensen'], [player_tooltip player_id='2453665' first='Elisha' last='Kamara'], </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Irondale</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2120494' first='Cameron' last='Cramble'] -The Irondale senior forward had a big 31-point, 15 rebound double double versus Woodbury recently. The six-foot-eight-inch 2026 forward who is committed to NWC Red Raiders is averaging 19.4 points and 12.4 rebounds, the rebounds put his career total 2nd on Irondale's all-time list. Cramble has the ability to step out on the perimeter and shoot the ball and is a good threat at the rim as he's blocking 3.8 shots a game this season so far.</p>    <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2436925' first='Mason' last='Broussard'] - Broussard is a six-foot-seven-inch forward for Irondale who is averaging 10.3 rebounds and 9.7 points per game. Broussard is a force on the offensive glass utilizing his height and quick jump. On rebounds he keeps the ball high and out of reach while putting back opportunities inside.</p>
