Moussa is playing up at the 17u level this spring with D1 Minnesota Gold , and was consistently one of the best players on the floor in his games. He’s fearless attacking the basket, and has the touch to finish with either hand. Impressive body control to just hang in the air, absorb contact, and find ways to convert on difficult looks. Moussa is one of those guys who just makes plays on the defensive end of the floor as well. Whether he’s flying in to block a shot, drawing a charge in the lane, and picking off a pass, Moussa seems to come up with big plays on that end of the floor.

, Moussa was the only Champlin Park player able to get much going on Thursday night. The sophomore guard is so fast on the ball, and changes directions quickly to leave defenders in his dust on the way to the rim. Moussa is a right handed shooter, but catches defenders off guard as he almost seems more comfortable finishing with his left around the basket. Has that explosiveness to just hang in the air and finish with either hand in traffic. Defensively he was an absolute pest on the ball, pressuring opposing guards the length of the floor with a battery that never seemed to run low.

Moussa was far and away the best player on the floor in this matchup. He put his full skillset on display, impacting the game positively in a variety of ways. He was the go-to option scoring, being super tough to stop from getting downhill, as he also knocked down several three-point looks. He was a scrappy on-ball defender coming away with some steals. Dukuly was hitting his teammates with accurate passes for assists as well.

Dukuly showcased some terrific shooting abilities when covering him Sunday morning. Hitting 4/4 3-pointers in the opening frame. As this game progressed, I saw a terrific ability from Dukuly to force turnovers and lead the charge in transition.

Moussa is one of my favorite prospects to watch in Minnesota’s 2028 class. He is always playing at full speed and 100% effort. He can play either of the guard spots, being very effective playing with or off the ball. He is a high percentage shooter from the perimeter with his quick jumper. He can also use his quickness to attack the basket, where is great at converting on tough finishes.
