. Moussa stepped in and didn’t force his offense with poor shots, he moved the ball and when it came back he struck with the right playmaking decisions.
Moussa has the potential to be one of the best ball pressure defenders and one of the best attacking playmakers in his class. It all starts with the speed. Moussa’s lateral movement can swallow up an opposing player when he wants to and the transition push or attack of a lane in the defense is as quick as the come meaning Moussa is a scrambling help defender’s nightmare.

Moussa is playing up at the 17u level this spring with D1 Minnesota Gold , and was consistently one of the best players on the floor in his games. He’s fearless attacking the basket, and has the touch to finish with either hand. Impressive body control to just hang in the air, absorb contact, and find ways to convert on difficult looks. Moussa is one of those guys who just makes plays on the defensive end of the floor as well. Whether he’s flying in to block a shot, drawing a charge in the lane, and picking off a pass, Moussa seems to come up with big plays on that end of the floor.

, Moussa was the only Champlin Park player able to get much going on Thursday night. The sophomore guard is so fast on the ball, and changes directions quickly to leave defenders in his dust on the way to the rim. Moussa is a right handed shooter, but catches defenders off guard as he almost seems more comfortable finishing with his left around the basket. Has that explosiveness to just hang in the air and finish with either hand in traffic. Defensively he was an absolute pest on the ball, pressuring opposing guards the length of the floor with a battery that never seemed to run low.
