Iye has been on the rise as a prospect over these past six months, and is the type of player who just screams potential. He definitely looks a couple inches taller than last season, and at that 6’7+ range he moves well at his size. Against DeLaSalle he was able to give them some issues with his ability to move out on the perimeter and knock down shots. He played mostly at the JV level last winter, but looks ready to step into a much bigger role now as a junior.

Prep Hoops Lead Scout

Fuye was really good moving off the ball and getting to spots using his quickness at his size and length to score active buckets at the rim. Type of player that will be really scoring in transition, off cuts, off putbacks, etc. Showed a bit of range too hitting a corner triple.

I think Fuye is going to fit comfortably into a nice role for the Crimson this winter.

Long and athletic Forward that hasn’t even started to scratch the surface of just how good he can be. 6’7” Forward that showed versatility on both ends of the floor. Mobile big on the defensive end that showed his prowess as a rim protector and as a switchable defender in the pick and roll being able to contain guards on the perimeter. A bit raw offensively but showed flashes of fluidness when driving closeouts as well as out of the mid-post. Arguably the most intriguing player that I was able to see on Friday night.

Iye is a 2028 prospect to keep an eye on. The 6’7″ forward has great length and a high motor, allowing him to track down both defensive and offensive rebounds, which often turn into easy putbacks. He also runs the floor extremely well for a big man and shows a soft touch around the rim, converting layups and floaters at a high rate.
