Expert Analysis

Keaton took over in the second half of a big win in the 15U semifinals. The freshman guard displayed a lot of confidence and ability to create for himself using the dribble. I was really impressed with some of his takes to the basket, being able to make one move to get by his defender to then convert on a tough finish inside. Haag is also a major threat to shoot from the perimeter, as is a player that is very tough to slow down once he gets going.

A standout guard Haag can hit from beyond the arc with ease, carrying the Fury in the first half on Saturday afternoon. With a clean shot Haag is a standout perimeter shooter who can also move the ball around to create open looks for his teammates. The guard showcased good vision assisting on multiple buckets throughout the game. At 6’0 Haag can hold his own down low as well getting in the lane for multiple easy layups.

He’s a major threat from 3-point range with a smooth, effortless, and accurate shooting stroke that makes him dangerous anytime he touches the ball. What also makes Keaton stand out is his ability to attack off the bounce and score inside the arc. He’s more than just a shooter, showing the versatility to impact the game in multiple ways. On a loaded Antl Fury team, he’s proven himself as a talented player who makes plays and produces offensively.
