The WOTN defense simply didn’t have an answer for Kyler’s speed on Saturday afternoon. He was flying by defenders for finish after finish in the first half, racking up 16 points and 6 assists in a blowout win for his team. Despite attacking at a high speed, Kyler always looked under control, and was able to make split second decisions on whether to pass or score based on how the help-side defender reacted around the rim. Dangerous off ball defender who has the timing to jump passes for steals or step in to take a charge.

Kyler was making plays on both ends of the floor in a Saturday morning win for D1 Minnesota Gold . He’s lighting quick on and off the ball, able to get into dangerous areas off the dribble, or come in from off the ball to force turnovers defensively. He has good defensive awareness, knowing when to step in to cut off driving lanes, is quick moving laterally to pressure the ball, and after a steal can take off in the open floor. Kyler continuously found ways to use that quick burst to get to the rim, and finished at a high percentage throughot the game.

Kyler is a do-it-all guard who can impact winning in a variety of ways. He is a good ball handler, being capable of conducting an offense. He is a great rebounder and defender for his position, being able to match up with different kinds of players. Pust can score inside and outside, as he is confident in his shot and can finish with touch or through contact inside.
