About Logan
Expert Analysis
Max Wagner | Prep Hoops Scout
Logan is one of the best pure shooters in Wisconsin, and there isn’t a shot he doesn’t like. In a matchup against a Team Rampage that played a high pressure style of defense, Logan was consistently finding ways to get quality looks. He could pump-fake into a one/two dribble pull-up from mid-range, or curl off a screen for a catch-and-shoot three. If you let Logan catch with time to get his feet set, he’s likely going to put points on the board.

I did not see an entire game of his but he caught my eye with his offensive game. Becker is intriguing because of his size, strength, athletic ability, jump shot, and shooting range. I love how he rose over the defense and knocked down shots without an inch of doubt. When Logan pulled the trigger, he knew it was going in!

-I did not see his full game but what I did see, Becker was impressive
-Strong attack early, mid-point pull-up, nice shot
-Shortly after he drilled a corner triple, all net
-Another swish, this one from NBA depth
-Another 3-pointer, this one was a pull-up from the left side
-Hustler, grabbed an O-board, saved the ball from going out of bounds

Logan proved to be a true two-way player for D1 Minnesota Gold in a convincing win over WOTN on Saturday. Defensively he was able to consistently cut off opposing guards when they looked to drive on him, and around the basket did a great job of walling up to force tough shots. Did a nice job of consistently finding bodies to box out, providing an additional rebounding presence for his team. Offensively he shot it at a high level from three, and was able to recognize and beat bad closeouts off the dribble to get into the lane. Such a consistent player for D1 Minnesota Gold 17u.

A very good athlete who excels on the football field and basketball court at Aquinas, Becker is playing this spring for the DI Minnesota Gold squad. He had a strong showing in a 75-71 loss to Minnesota Lace Up Black. Becker drained a baseline three and got the basket off the bounce in the closing minutes of the tight contest. He also was was smart with the ball in his hands. If his route to the hoop was cut off, Becker simply made a strong pivot to kick the ball out to a teammate. He had a solid junior year while helping Aquinas win the WIAA Division 4 state championship and is a three-year varsity performer for the Blugolds.
