Top 5 Teams and Prospects: Regions 3 and 4

I wanted to breakdown the top 5 college prospects and the top 5 teams in each region heading into the year. This should not be considered the top 5 overall players! Unfortunately tore his ACL recently and will miss entire season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1229151' first='Ty' last='Price'], Butler County (2025) - Has taken official visits to Texas A&amp;M-CC, Sacred Heart and UT-Martin recently.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1513495' first='Luke' last='Beickman'], Owensboro Catholic (2025) - Committed to Eastern Illinois. Does a little bit of everything and does it all well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1543352' first='DeAaron' last='Watkins'], Daviess County (2026) - Potential-wise, he's the best prospect in the area by far. Could blow up with a big season and strong AAU next year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>(tie) [player_tooltip player_id='1359130' first='Jonathan' last='Moss'], Daviess County (2026) - Could be anywhere on this list, including first. Tough guard who can also score it well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>(tie) [player_tooltip player_id='1745592' first='Jack' last='Logsdon'], Grayson County (2027) - Couldn't leave him off the list. Jack could have a big Sophomore season and is a D1 prospect, long term.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Top 5 Teams:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Daviess County - Talented group that has one of the best athletes in Watkins and one of the best all around players in Moss.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Owensboro Catholic - Beickman and company will be very good and Coach Riley is in the Hall of Fame for a reason. Watch out for Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2381856' first='Dre'mail' last='Carothers'].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Owensboro - Sophomore Michael Acton is a bucket getter and Senior [player_tooltip player_id='2353615' first='Keaton' last='Hughes'] is a load down low. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Butler County - Losing Rice for the season lowers their chances of repeating as region champs significantly but they do have some depth. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Grayson County - They return their entire team from last year. They have depth and shooting and had a good summer. Can make a huge leap as a Sophomore.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1418233' first='Cannon' last='Young'], Clinton County (2025) - Very polished big man who sees the floor very well. Holds multiple offers heading into the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2459944' first='Joseph' last='Hurt'], Bowling Green (2025) - Talented guard who transferred in from Fairdale this summer. Jace holds some offers already.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2411584' first='Jarek' last='Kirk'], Warren Central (2026) - His numbers as a Junior weren't impressive but Kirk earned multiple college offers this summer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Top 5 Teams:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Warren Central - The Dragons are loaded with talent and always peak in March.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bowling Green - Hurt, Wardlow and transfer [player_tooltip player_id='1671461' first='Ayden' last='Sadler'] will be solid pieces but the Purples need to develop some depth behind them.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Barren County - The Trojans return a bunch of talent and Coach Cunningham always has his teams ready to compete.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Greenwood - The Gators would win several regions in Kentucky but they haven't gotten out of the district in years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Warren East - Ditto for Warren East.
