One of the better “sleepers” in the Senior class, Hurt is an athletic wing player who continues to improve. Bowling Green will need him to be really good right away or risk Warren Central running away with the 4th region for another season. Joe is more than capable of being the regional Player of the Year.

Hurt is a big miss in our rankings up until now. After having a big season at Fairdale, Joe was one of the most impressive Juniors in Louisville. Able to score at a high level and a more than capable defender, Hurt is a shooting guard with good positional size and the ability to take and make big shots. A really good pickup for a Bowling Green team that is rebuilding.

were catching fire from long distance. Settling in nicely with the new team, Hurt has good size for a shooter and has the frame to put on some muscle once he gets in a college weight program. A tough shot maker, Hurt knocked down some contested shots on Friday. If Bowling Green makes the shots they did on Friday, they’ll be a tough team to beat with their experience and offensive firepower.
