Steve Quattrocchi | Prep Hoops Scout
One of the best unsigned Seniors in the class, Kirk has a chance to be a steal for someone this spring. A big bodied forward, Jarek has continued to improve over the last 2 years and his best basketball is ahead of him.

Another Warren Central Dragon who is primed for a breakout season. Kirk claims a couple of D1 offers already and could see more colleges come his way with a big Senior season. Jarek is able to score inside and out and will be a difference maker in the 4th region. He goes from 45th to 35th in this update.

A Top 50 prospect in Kentucky’s Class of 2025, Kirk was a standout for Craig Porter Elite on Saturday morning. The versatile 6’5″ forward displayed a full range of offensive ability which included making open catch-and-shoot looks from the perimeter, attacking closeouts to his right hand, and using his size to finish against smaller defenders around the basket. Kirk’s size and length, paired with some legitimate wing skill, is his most intriguing quality. He finished with 17 points and 7 rebounds in this contest. College programs at various levels should be following this prospect into his senior season at Warren Central High School in Kentucky.

Kirk is an undersized post player but that didn’t stop a couple of schools from offering him in July, including D1 LeMoyne. Warren Central will be overlooked because of how much they graduated this spring but Jarek is part of a roster that has waited their turn to be impact players for the Dragons. After averaging 5 points and 4 rebounds last season, it’s not unfeasible that Kirk could double those averages as a Senior.

Warren Central has a lot of young pieces and is in the rebuilding phase for their storied program. Kirk is one of the seniors who will be looked to lead the younger generation into the next great years of Warren Central basketball. On Friday, Kirk was their most productive player with his ability to protect the rim with his length, his rebounding and scoring around the rim. Also flashing the ability to stretch the floor with a time and space 3-pointer. If Kirk can continue to impact games in the paint, he could get some NAIA scholarship interest down the road.
