It’s not often that a true post player can average 21 points and 10 rebounds per game while shooting 59% from the field and still be overlooked. Keaton is a big bodied center who is polished around the rim and keeps getting better. I think he can be competitive in the Mid South Conference as soon as next year and if I were at a Campbellsville or Lindsey Wilson, I’d be looking at Hughes very hard.

Hughes is a bruising big with an old school low post game. He plays hard and rebounds at a high rate. Keaton is a player who doesn’t need a bunch of sets ran for him in order to affect the game on offense. With a strong Senior season, Hughes could earn himself multiple offers before Spring signing day.

One of the few players in the state to average a double-double this season, Keaton is probably under ranked right now but he’s got time to move up. A bruising big, Hughes can score around the rim and is a very active rebounder. A school like his hometown Brescia could get a steal with a player like Hughes.

Owensboro is not having the type of season that they might have expected but they are a dangerous team capable of making a serious run in March. They’ve already beaten the top team in the region and could face them in both the district and regional championships. Keaton Hughes Keaton Hughes 6'7" | C Owensboro | 2025 State KY has come a long way over the last couple of seasons and is now the toughest matchup in the 3rd region. A double-double big is hard to come by and Hughes is a very physical big who provides a legitimate threat to score on the low post every possession.
