Moss’s ability to score in other areas of the floor also opens up his three-point game, making him a difficult matchup for defenders.

Recently announcing a re-opening of his recruitment, Moss has already drawn a ton of interest from Division I programs. Moss was absolutely killing on Saturday with a dominant offensive display. Moss was making tough shots off the dribble with ease and I loved the balance and rhythm he was playing with as a creator. Almost like a dancer with how his feet work in rhythm with his dribble moves, Moss stays on balance when attacking off the dribble. I also was impressed with how quickly Moss beat the double team with passes and was able to get the ball back to create under a 30 second shot clock. Moss has continued to improve his game each time I watch him play and the growth he’s shown over the past 18 months is remarkable, a Mr Basketball candidate in Kentucky.

Moss is a big time scorer who also knows how to run a team from the point guard spot. Headed to Chattanooga, Jay is capable of going for 30 points per game or handing out double figures assists.

Moss had a huge AAU season after a really good Junior season for Daviess County. Committed to Chattanooga, Jay is a sleeper pick for the Mr Basketball Award this season. Don’t be surprised if he garners some votes before the ceremony as he is firmly in the mix for the top Senior award in Kentucky.

Moss is one of the biggest stock risers of the spring and summer and has seen his recruitment take off as a result. Jonathan is capable of scoring or creating for teammates and has become a good enough three point shooter that he’s an incredibly tough player to defend. He’s the top available Senior in the state.

Very few players are as improved year over year than Moss is as he’s taken his game to new heights this summer. Playing with the ball on a string, Moss is able to get where he wants to off the dribble and is playing with a ton of confidence. While he was making it rain with numerous 3-pointers on Friday evening, his best play of the night came early in the game when Moss made a lefty skip pass to a shooter on the wing. Moss recently took a visit to Belmont and has a lot of college interest from regional and national programs.

The hottest name in Kentucky in the month of May, Moss has a ton of momentum right now. He’s been offered by Arizona State, Kennesaw State and Morehead State in the last month and continues to get new colleges interested in him by the day. Jay could be a big breakout star in June and July.

Moss has had the best spring of any prospect in Kentucky thus far. Before the live period, he was offered by both Arizona State and Kennesaw State. Jay has shown off his athleticism as well as his high level playmaking all spring long and is becoming a popular name with D1 colleges all over the map.
