Aidan has been one of the biggest stock risers in the state over the past year and I was able to see why for myself at the KY Expo. Of all the prospects in the gym, he probably had the biggest upside given his size and skillset for his age. He’ll have ample enough time for his athleticism and IQ to evolve over the next few years, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he grows another inch or two. Those possibilities make for an extremely scary sight given that what you have now is a kid that can essentially score from anywhere. His shot selection stood out this past weekend as did his ability to change the game by controlling the boards. He probably shot the most free throws of any prospect I watched at the event due to the fact that other teams simply didn’t have an answer for him.

West continues to improve at a high clip. Pushing every bit of 6’7″ now, Aidan is just super skilled on the offensive end. His ultimate ceiling will be determined by how well he can guard but West was perhaps the most skilled player in the entire event on Sunday. If he gets more vertically athletic, Aidan is going to be ready to break out in a big way over the next 3 years.

Aidan went from unranked to top 10 over the course of the past calendar year. Sitting at 11th in the class now, West is going to have a target on his back at camp on Sunday. A big guard who has a lot of skill, Aidan remains one of my favorite long term prospects in the Sophomore class and I’m looking forward to seeing how much he has improved.

West slipped barely out of the top ten in this update but his upside is amongst the highest in the entire class. A super skilled big wing with the potential to take over for long stretches, Aidan should be in line for a gigantic role increase after the Panthers graduated two D1 talents this summer. West is a good but not great athlete. As he stops growing, he should learn to love the weight room and find a Vertimax to get his game to the next level.

Aidan’s stock has shot up over the past few months following the opportunity to showcase his diverse skillset on the PRO16 15U division with Kentucky Basketball Club. Keeping it in the family, he’ll now be running with Kentucky Basketball Club West in the upcoming live period sessions. Although he’ll be making the jump over to Puma’s NXTPRO division, the lengthy swingman will be playing up a grade level while doing so.

West is a unique combination of size and skill and has one of the best all around skill sets in the class. Aidan has great feel for the game but will have to improve his lateral quickness to reach his ceiling. A smooth midrange scorer, West is going to be a matchup problem for 3rd region foes thanks to his size and his ability to score inside or out. Keep an eye out for Aidan, long term.

He is now up to 6’6″. West is a guard with exciting versatility on both ends. He scores the rock from all levels and is very good at creating for teammates. Due to his size and capability, Aidan disrupts passing lanes and contests shots. He impacts the game in many ways while making winning plays. West also does the little things that don’t show up in the stat column. As Aidan continues to develop physically and his tools sharpen, he has the potential to become a high-level prospect in the state of Kentucky.

Daviess County is graduating 4 starters and Michael Acton is the lone player coming back who made big time contributions for the Panthers this season. Aidan should be next up for DC. A big wing who can get to the rim and knock down perimeter shots, Aidan is already blessed with great size and has a frame that should continue to fill out.

The Panthers are having one of the best seasons in school history. While West has not played a ton for Daviess County, he looks like he will be the next man up after graduation. A big wing with a smooth game, Aidan would play plenty on any other 3rd region team this season and could be the best freshman in the region. Long term, West is a name to keep an eye out for.

Aidan sees the floor well with his size at 6’4″. an advanced midrange scorer who excels at getting to his spots on the offensive end. As a defender, West can offer a ton of problems thanks to his size. Difficult to see over, it will be interesting to see how tall Aidan winds up and how well he can move laterally in switching situations on the defensive end of the floor.
