AJ has a higher profile right now on the football field but he’s a very solid basketball prospect as well. Rhodes is physically mature forward who can take a beating on the offensive end and still finish through contact. Defensively, Rhodes is a good two handed rebounder and offers some rim protection. If AJ continues to see his stock take off in football, he could end up a D1 player on the field but he’s going to be a good player on the court as well.

AJ played a minor role as a freshman at Douglass last season but he could be a major contributor to the Broncos starting as soon as next month. A big forward who can play inside or out, Rhodes has a high ceiling and could be the breakout player in Lexington next season.
