2024 The Expo: Oregon Preview

In this article:
Registration has been completed and the roster is set for the 2024 PrepHoops Oregon Expo, which will take place on Sunday, September 22 at the Beaverton Hoop YMCA. As always, the talent level in the gym will be high and college coaches from the NCAA D-II, NCAA D-III, NAIA, and junior college ranks will be on hand to watch the action and others will be able to catch it live streaming on Baller TV. Here's a quick look at some of the general things to watch out for.
Top Five Talent Will Be In The House
Many of the top-ranked players in the Classes of 2025 and 2026 have signed up to participate, which should elevate the level of competition. Leading the way in the Class of 2025 is Top 5 ranked

Solid Size on the Court
As usual, the majority of the guys on the floor will be guards but this year there is a decent amount of size as there are eight players listed at 6-foot-6 and higher. Topping the list are two 6-foot-10 posts in seniors

Road Tripping From Afar
As expected, most of the players in the gym are from the Portland Metro area with a number coming up from Salem, others from Eugene and Bend, and even more from Southern Oregon in Roseburg and Medford. There are a few guys from out-of-state this year as well, including Jayden Vasisht from Miramonte (CA), Jayce Grotte from La Center (WA), Josiah Jointer from Fort Vancouver (WA), and all the way from Alaska comes Pedrin Sacade-Hurt from Juneau Douglas.
The event starts at 11 am on Sunday morning and all the action will conclude by 4 pm. Attendance is free for all spectators. PrepHoops Oregon will be providing full coverage of the event on Twitter and will have plenty of write-up coverage in the days and weeks after it concludes.
