He’s a strong forward who was not only able to slow the game down inside with his ability to control defenders from the blocks, but also showed some good hustle to get out and contribute on the break with some layups and second-chance buckets. He was very poised with the ball, taking his time to work around the paint and get to his spots.

He was a load inside, creating space with bumps and then gathering himself for shots in the paint. He showed good touch with jump hooks from either side, with both hands, and had the mobility in tight spaces to spin off of defenders and quickly finish. He ran the floor, was big on the glass, and provided a solid presence by the rim for his squad.

While he may never be a high flyer kind of guy, Rosenberg is still extremely effective because he knows what he’s capable of as a below-the-rim kind of operator. He used his body well in the paint to establish position in the post and utilized footwork for some crafty finishes and was very effective sealing off to soak up rebounds. Rosenberg showed off a nice face-up jumper as well.
