Before he suits up at West Valley, James ran with The PAC this past weekend at the Memorial Day Championships and after playing this past season at Parkrose largely down on the block or at the top of the zone, we were reminded how he’s able to attack with the ball in his hands. The Parkrose senior was able to create off the dribble to light up the scoreboard and also found open teammates for scores in a tight loss in the finals.

Solid all-around play from James at the Expo. The well-built 6-foot guard was able to play multiple positions on the offensive end, showed the ability to handle the basketball versus pressure, and used his strength to outmuscle defenders and finish plays in the lane. An outstanding passer, he unselfishly looked to set up teammates for scores.

A unique player with his blend of strength and skill as a power guard, James Adell was a solid rotation piece this past season for Grant. His ability to play bigger than his listed 6-foot height allows him to really help out on the boards and physically as a defender, yet his passing ability can also be utilized on the offensive end.
