The Class of 2029 is loaded and there’s no question an argument could be made for Norris to be at the top. The rising sophomore is a point guard with size and skill and even as a true freshman for Parkrose, proved to be a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses. His pull-up game is elite and once he adds consistency to his three-point shot, watch out. More than just a scorer, Norris does a tremendous job getting the ball to open teammates and using his motor, he does a lot of the little things on defense that helps the Broncos have arguably the toughest full-court defense in the state. Colleges are already jumping on board as he holds early offers from San Francisco, San Jose State, and Texas-Arlington.

There’s no question with his size and athleticism, Norris is a matchup nightmare for many point guards. That was the case in Parkrose’s win over Grant in the opening game for both teams at the Rose City Showcase as the rising sophomore couldn’t be contained, especially once he got around the hoop. He converted two big traditional and-one plays at the hoop and as always, was extremely effective with his mid-range pull-up. 14 points total in the intense win.

Norris played a key role in the Broncos run to the 5A state title. A high level shooter, who will only continue to improve as he gets bigger & stronger.

Norris III continues to show why he’s regarded as one of the top freshmen in the state, already starting on one of the top teams at the 5A level. He plays with confidence, handling the ball well and making smart, team-first decisions. Norris impressed us with his playmaking ability and smooth mid-range game, showing comfort creating for himself and others. He finished with 14 points, further cementing his rising status.

Victor Norris is emerging as one of the top freshmen in the state, showing maturity and two-way impact beyond his years. He’s a solid defender who consistently attacks the rim and makes smart reads as a passer. With high upside and strong feel for the game, Norris finished with 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists, highlighting his all-around potential.

Norris stood out as a long, athletic shot-maker who could score in a variety of ways on Sunday. The 6-foot-2 guard handled the ball comfortably for his size and consistently looked like one of the most polished all-around players on the floor. He’ll be at Parkrose this upcoming season. (JN)
