The overall shooting percentages at the end of the game may not look impressive, but Tompkins made some big shots when Summit needed them in their win over Thurston. The senior stepped up and knocked down a couple of threes and defensively, made some big plays including three blocked shots. The Puget Sound commit finished with 14 points and 6 rebounds.

Creative scorer who was aggressive in trying to get into the lane and attack the basket. Length and shifty footwork helped him to make space for himself on drives and get off his shot, sometimes through contact. Proved himself as a solid face-up shooting threat from mid-range. Showed good energy on the boards and on defense.
