In 2025–26, he excelled in all areas for the Mavericks—continuing to score consistently while also taking on a larger role in facilitating and executing Mountainside’s offense. His ability to operate within structured sets, create opportunities, and make the right reads helped generate efficient scoring looks for his team, particularly around the basket. Vizconde reached a major milestone this season, surpassing 1,000 career points, a testament to his consistency and development. His well-rounded game, basketball IQ, and leadership make him a reliable presence who impacts winning in multiple ways. (JT)

Vizconde’s role has evolved over the years, going from corner shooting specialist as a freshman to now a leader his senior season. The combo guard excelled in all phases of the game in 2025-26 for the Mavericks, still scoring the ball well consistently while also helping run Mountainside’s sophisticated sets designed to get easy points close to the basket.

Did a nice job of letting the game come to him, knocked down three 3’s on the night. When his feet are set, his shot is high level. Spent a lot of time as the facilitator on offense & showed the ability to run an offense. Finished with 13 points on the night.

Vizconde is one of the most experienced players in the state, bringing four years of varsity experience and a steady presence on the floor. He’s a very good three-point shooter with deep range, plays with poise, and impacts the game beyond scoring by rebounding well and keeping possessions alive with his toughness. He finished the game with 12 points.

The 6-foot senior often ran the point when he was on the floor and did a great job of balancing his own offense with finding teammates. Vizconde’s jumper was on target for most of the two days as there were very few open looks he didn’t knock down. He was able to effectively balance his shooting with drives to the basket, where he was able to get baskets or find open teammates for their own opportunities. The rising senior will be counted upon heavily this upcoming season for his leadership. (JT)

The 6-foot senior often ran the point when he was on the floor and did a great job of balancing his own offense with finding teammates, finishing with 10 recorded assists on the day. While his outside shot looked great, didn’t settle for jumpers but instead looked to create off the bounce and drew contact.

Vizconde averaged 16.0 ppg on 48.1 percent shooting, 31.8 percent from three-point range. Over the last couple of years, the junior guard has evolved into more than being a catch-and-shoot threat and the tournament was evident of that, as 18 of his 25 field goals were actually two-point scores. He converted a number of tough drives in the lane, often through contact.

Vizconde’s role changed as a sophomore at Mountainside where he could no longer just spot up in the corner and drain threes. But while his overall shooting percentage may have dipped a bit, he showed he was able to effectively create by attacking the hoop while still maintaining his reputation as a perimeter sniper.
