Reyes was clearly the best ball handler in the gym, and with guys like Pelumi Ajayi Pelumi Ajayi 6'1" | PG/SG Sunset | 2027 State OR , Elijah Schmidt Elijah Schmidt 5'10" | CG West Salem | 2027 State OR , and Mootii Jemal Mootii Jemal 6'1" | PG Tigard | 2027 State OR , that is really impressive. Although he is a good slasher and also great at driving and kicking, his floater game really impressed me. He was able to get to the floater, runner, and pull up with ease through out the scrimmage, and if anyone stepped up he would just dump it off or kick it. Another strong attribute to his game is his defense. Although undersized he is very strong and manages to push guys out, especially if they are bigger than him.

#227 – Smart 5-foot-11 point guard. Was constantly looking to get teammates involved, using quickness and a crafty dribble to get past defenders for drives and dishes to others for scores. When open, knocked down the perimeter three and also showcased an effective one-handed runner in the lane.

Reyes has emerged as G-Elite’s second option on offense behind Palmer Ochoa Palmer Ochoa 6'0" | PG/SG Mountainside | 2027 State OR and he had things going in their win on Sunday morning. His shot was solid from deep, knocking down three open threes, and he finished a couple of his trademark one-handed floaters in the lane. Good motor on the defensive end and he did a good job passing as well, finishing with 14 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals.

Gutsy play at the point on Saturday at the Memorial Day Championships from Reyes. The Mountainside rising senior guard was confident and aggressive in creating for himself and others, finishing several shots with his patented one handed floater in the lane, while also showing range on his jumper. In the Reyes family tradition, he showed off some great motor on defense as well.

A fast, quick guard, Reyes brings energy and confidence every time he’s on the floor. A true hustle player, he impacts the game with his effort, attacking the rim and pushing the pace. He’s a solid shooter and good ball handler, capable of creating opportunities for himself and keeping defenses on edge. In his matchup against Carr Academy, he finished with 11 points, showing his ability to contribute offensively while maintaining his high motor. His speed, confidence, and relentless play style make him a valuable backcourt presence.
