Ajayi didn’t get to play this past season but there was no rust evident with his game. The Sunset junior guard excelled at the drive and dish, as he was constantly looking for guys with a lane to the hoop or an open look from the outside. He converted a number of baskets of his own and was able to knock down some open threes to keep the defense honest. Some quick hands on the defensive end as well led to created turnovers.

A quick, aggressive guard for Fly Academy, Ajayi was constantly knifing through the defense and getting to the rim. He’s a guy who was able to find space, splitting defenders, and getting downhill with a quick first step and some smooth finishing at the rim. His burst and aggression to the hoop allowed him to convert on several tough, contested finishes by getting to the hoop just before defenders could reach him.
