Had Team Fly won the tournament, Andrews would have been our pick for MVP. The Centennial guard was flat out unstoppable getting to the basket as he utilized his strength to move past defenders and then power his way to the hoop. If he missed he often was in position to grab the offensive rebound for a putback attempt – he simply was not going to be denied. He got hot from three a couple of times and as always, played with plenty of energy on D.

When you watch Andrews in warm ups, you don’t expect him to be the Eagles point guard, his frame is that of an inside player. However, he lead Centennial to unseen heights this season with his basketball iq & ability to get the ball to his talented teammates in places where they could score the ball. Some would say he has an “old man’s game”, but we think that’s what makes him an impact player on a team that expects to be a contender for the 5A state title next season. Simply put, Andrews makes winning plays & coaches always find value in that.

continues to stand out as one of the more impressive guards we’ve seen in recent years. His playmaking ability is off the charts, consistently getting to the rim with ease while setting the tone as a vocal leader. He impacted the game beyond scoring, rebounding well for his position and holding his own defensively, and finished with 11 points while controlling the flow of the game.
