We just saw one game of Jackson during the Finale in the Valley, but it was a good one – for several reasons. For one, it gave us confirmation that the guard will not only be with Centennial for his senior season but also an indication of how he will fit in with them – which clearly looked good. Jackson was aggressive in pushing the ball up the floor and did well playing with either the ball in his hands or without it. He shot the ball extremely well from deep and utilized his athleticism driving to the hoop, finishing one fast break with an impressive two-handed slam.

One of the more underrated guards in the Portland area, Jackson is coming off a second-team all-league season and is poised to lead the Demos in what should be another competitive PIL campaign. At EYCL Session 2, he impressed with his versatility, quickness, and relentless motor. Jackson consistently got downhill, creating paint touches and finishing at the rim with ease. Defensively, he showed active hands and the ability to disrupt opposing ball handlers. Despite battling an injury throughout the event, Jackson continued to compete at a high level, showcasing the toughness and leadership that make him a key piece for Jefferson next season.

Athletic and muscular guard whose physical attributes were difficult for opponents to match up against. Consistently sought to move the basketball and find teammates for scores, and balanced it well with his own offense. The Jefferson junior got to the basket when he wanted to and was sharp with his jumper, both from distance and the mid-range pull-up. (JT)
