Walsh was arguably Centennial’s most consistent player over their three games played, as the 6-foot-6 swingman averaged 13.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 4.7 assists for the Eagles. His passing in particular was critical as he posted a 4.7:1 assist-to-turnover ratio, which led all players in the tournament. The sophomore is super skilled and may get the opportunity to play point guard full time next season.

Centennial had to win the final 4 games of the season just to make the OSAA 5A state playoffs, but once they did, the Eagles pulled off the upset of the tournament so far by knocking off a West Albany team that entered as the 2 seed & on an 18 game winning streak. Walsh was huge in the road win scoring 28 points, with 18 of them coming at the free throw line.

Another player who’s benefitted from transfer, Walsh has gotten the opportunity to play more on the perimeter with Centennial this season and showcase his diverse skills.
