went out and performed at a high level this season. He has an edge to his game that he brings to the table routinely. As he crashes the glass harder than just about any guard out there, and his second chance points can be real back breakers. Redding also uses his long strides to attack the cup and he knocked down 3’s when he had time and room on the perimeter. Defensively, he is a difference maker due to his instincts and agility. Making it hard for opponents to get a truly clean look at the rim.

did a fantastic job of positioning himself for offensive rebounds, and the sophomore combo guard had a number of timely ones for DPAC in the second half. He also promptly went right back up with it and showed real touch in those situations.

showcased his all-around game for the Blue Knights at the Tarkanian Classic. Offensively, he attacked the basket and drained multiple 3-pointers in the Spalding Division Championship against JSerra, finishing with 22 points. He also contributed on the boards and used his length to disrupt opponents defensively. Redding’s effort didn’t go unnoticed, as he earned a spot on the All-Tournament team.

made his presence felt on both ends of the court at The Hoop Gods All-American Camp. He got downhill a number of times and scored. While he also hit shots from 3 point land. On defense, he applied good ball pressure and used his long arms to be disruptive.

played with Desert Pines back at Section 7. But he is now going to be a Blue Knight and will play for Coach Corey Duke at DPAC. Redding is a very disruptive defender who uses his wingspan to cause turnovers. He also gets downhill on offense and scores second chance points often. All in all, he should help DPAC this upcoming season and I think they’re definitely 5A contenders.
