Tatum Webb consistently makes an impact on the court with his relentless energy. He is a spark plug for his Liberty team and hustles to grab rebounds whenever he has the opportunity. He also sprints back on defense and has the lateral quickness to put the clamps on his matchup. On offense, he utilizes his quickness and instincts to get to his spots. Overall, he had a very productive weekend while showcasing his all-around game.

Taytum has one of the highest, if not the highest motor in Vegas. He proved this at Section 7. From grabbing rebounds left and right on both ends of the floor, to going coast to coast as many times as I’ve seen at this level, to guarding everybody everywhere all game long, every game. It seems as if he never gets tired too as his efficiency never wavered despite the amount of work he was putting in each game. Tatum displayed his three-level scoring ability as he consistently knocked down 3’s, got to a midrange pull up, and got to the basket finishing through contact; switching it up by the possession to keep defenses honest. On the other end, he kept his hands in cookie jars and created a plethora of turnovers in favor of his team. His stock is definitely rising!

Taytum was great all game on Thursday, as he was consistently crashing the glass on both ends of the floor, providing extra possessions for his team more times than I could count. His defense was his best offense as he created turnovers through his on-ball pressure and anticipation for where the next pass would be. Offensively, with the ball in his hands, he was consistently getting downhill and finished through contact or finding the open kick-out whenever the help came to stop his drives.

Taytum Cios-Webb claims the #15 spot after being a force on both ends of the court for the Liberty Patriots this season. On defense, he leveraged his energy, quickness, and focus to lock down opponents. He was also one of the better rebounding guards in 5A and regularly snagged boards on offense. Beyond his scrappy play, he has some burst and will likely be getting downhill more frequently in the future.

Taytum Cios-Webb impacted the game on both ends in Liberty’s win over Democracy Prep. He was all over the glass, turning rebounds into second-chance points. And drilled a key three to close the third quarter. On defense, his motor stood out. I noticed him cutting off driving lanes and staying active with hands.

All in all, it was a solid weekend for him.

I also saw Webb staying active on the defensive end. He consistently pressured the Centennial guards, and helped keep them out of their rhythm most of the game.

He is a pretty decent ball handler, and plays with his eyes up. Which enables him to find his teammates that are open in the paint or on the perimeter. Webb also has some quickness, and can burn his guy when he really hits it.
