The state’s all-time leading scorer was solid throughout the Mid-Major Classic, scoring 10 points each in both games for Team Martin. In an all-star setting he wasn’t going to get a ton of shots, but he made plenty of open jumpers and in general, made great decisions with the basketball when he had the rock in his hands. In fact, his eight total assists was the highest total out of everyone in the event.

Nice outing for Koehnke at the Expo. Played mostly off the ball and took what the defense gave him, whether it was the open perimeter shot or a lane going to the hoop. He shot the ball fairly well from the perimeter and played solid team basketball, hustling on the offensive boards for putbacks, looking for open teammates, and hustling on the defensive end.
