Chicago Elite Classic Preview

The Chicago Elite Classic has become one of the premier events in the state of Illinois and country early in the season.  The annual event will once again be held at Credit 1 Arena on the campus of UIC.  Check out Prep Hoops Illinois detailed preview of the event!   In the Illinois senior class there will be 32 of the PHI Top 100 ranked prospects participating in the event including 17 of the top 30 overall. It is headlined by the top ranked senior in the state [player_tooltip player_id='1157230' first='Morez' last='Johnson'] (Thornton) who is headed to Illinois as he will go against a pair of high major seniors in [player_tooltip player_id='1284852' first='Chris' last='Riddle'] who is headed to DePaul and Arizona State signee [player_tooltip player_id='1157346' first='Jaden' last='Smith'] for Kenwood. [player_tooltip player_id='1373436' first='Angelo' last='Ciaravino'] of Mt. Carmel emerged as one of the truly elite prospects in the state. The top 5 senior is headed to Northwestern.
