Aden Jeffries Aden Jeffries 6'8" | SF Southern of Energy and Sustainability | 2026 State NC made the move to Southern Durham and what a perfect basketball marriage it has been for both of them. Jeffries is a floor spacing wing forward with the ability to really heat up from the outside along with using that size to help his team protect the rim on the other end of the floor. Jeffries is averaging 10.3 Points, 3.8 Rebounds, 1.3 Assists, 0.5 Steals, and 1.0 Blocks per game on 46/39/72 splits. For a kid to have his touch at his size along with the fluidity in which he moves leads me to believe there is still a lot of untapped upside. He’s shown a ton of growth throughout the year as well and it showed in a gutsy Home Playoff OT win vs Garner. Jeffries finished with a team high 21 Points in the win. He’s a no brainer full scholarship talent that’s trajectory is trending upwards!

Jeffries had a really quality performance in Southern’s win over Petersburg on day two. He finished with 12 points, 3 Rebounds, and 3 Assists while knocking in three from beyond the arc. He makes timely plays, he’s a mismatch with his size, and his mobility allows him to take advantage of that with the defensive versatility. Jeffries made the transfer to Southern and has fit in like a glove with this group. He has also adjusted to the level of competition quite well, providing an immediate impact with his shooting. Expect Jeffries to make a nice little splash in the rankings when we update them next week. He should find himself starting to pick up some recruiting traction as well with how attractive his size and shooting is at the next level.

Jeffries has made the move to Southern Durham and he fits like a glove. He is a very versatile front-court piece that can play on the wing, score from all three levels, and exploit mismatches off the bounce. He’s a big time rim protector defensively with the ability to switch and guard smaller guys. If he gets beat by one of those smaller guys, he has the foot speed and length to make up the ground and recover. Jeffries will be a late stock soarer when it comes to recruitment, expect big things this season from him at Southern Durham all season long.

Jeffries is in-state and played with the Durham Hurricanes this weekend, as they cruised to the 16U title. He’s got a naturally long frame with arms that seem to extend all the way up to the backboard when he’s around the rim. Really good and fluid scorer for his age, outclassing kids with his height but also his combo of skill and athleticism. Made some big shots as well as clutch ones, being the big play guy when his team needed it. Would love to see him on a shoe circuit team soon, as he’s got high level talent to compete with the best of them.
