Took no-time for Heard to reach double figures Saturday morning. Dribbled up to two 3-pointers and hit an open one in the corner. Also put back a missed 3-pointer in the first 10 minutes. It seemed like there was nothing GBs defenders could do about his shooting. The game speed really changed whenever he got the ball.

Heard showed tons of aggression from the start vs Metamora. Drew a foul inside early and hit a contested jumper shortly after. Took a high volume of shots throughout the game. Hitting at a very strong rate. On the defensive end. He displayed excellent footwork and body control to prevent blow-by’s. Also picked up a block late in the first half. Facilitated well as the game progressed and continued to score from all three levels. Including a pair of threes where he was falling backwards. Finished with 28 points
