Davis is a prospect who is just beginning to scratch the surface, and his development has been evident since the last time I evaluated him. He put together a productive summer with Caveman HGSL, showing noticeable strides in multiple areas of his game. Defensively, Davis has excellent timing when contesting shots and continues to grow into an effective rim protector. Offensively, he finishes well around the basket and has developed a reliable mid-range jumper that he is comfortable taking when defenses give him space. One area that pleasantly surprised me was his passing ability, as he consistently found teammates after securing rebounds and displayed better court vision than I had previously seen. The next step in his development will be adding strength to his frame, as more physical post players can still create advantages if they establish deep position on the block. Even so, his motor runs consistently, and with continued physical development, his ceiling is extremely high. His best basketball is still ahead of him, and if he continues to progress at this rate, the sky is the limit.

Davis is a mile long forward who oozes with potential and showed that he can make plays on both ends of the floor. He has great timing when going up to alter a shot and had several blocks. I also liked the different ways he could get a bucket from the dunker spots, on the attack, with his in-between game, from beyond the three point line. He shows some flashes with his face up game. Davis had a game high 28 points in the loss. He found ways to be an assertive rebounder and made the most of 2nd chance efforts.

Davis is a rangy mile long forward who oozes with potential and intrigues long-term. He shows the ability to space the floor as a shot-maker. Davis needs to improve on getting stronger and should look to be in the weight room more it would make some aspects of the game easier for him. He runs the floor like a deer and takes big strides when on the move. Davis shows some flashes of a post game arsenal. He also covers a lot of ground on the defensive end and finds different ways to impact opponents shots. I think a big season is in store for Davis.
