-Kennedy played well in new threads for MZN as a hustle guy that made a big impact on the momentum of the game off the bench for the Warriors. Kennedy sit the tone early when he picked his matchup at halfcourt and laid it up at the other end then flew in for the O board a minute later and laid it in through contact for the And-1 bucket that put MZN a lead midway through the 2H. His ability to provide ball pressure at the defensive end of the floor and find opportunities to attack the gaps at the offensive end speaks to the work ethic that he brings to the game each night.

Johnsen had some big moments each game for his team. Scored in each contest for Riverdale and made some highlight plays on both ends. Racked up a few steals and finished a couple layups through traffic. Johnsen had a smooth reverse layup through two defenders during Session II vs Potomac that helped shift momentum. Johnsen had a few games with some notable feeds that turned to assists. The plays Kennedy got involved in off the bench helped boost Riverdale’s energy.

Johnsen is an exciting and hungry guard making some noise from out of Montgomery County. He had some nice performances in the summer last year for Team Museum and is looking to pick up where he left off this summer. Kennedy is looking to make a big splash by showcasing his offensive and defensive tenacity. With Team Museum Johnson relies more on his scoring and playmaking ability. He still plays with the same tenacity on both sides which will be a key in catching the right eyes the offseason. He’s got the skillset to garner attention as well, and Johnsen will use his second year of High School experience to further progress his game.
