11p 5r 1b vs Team Loaded
-It was my first time seeing Issah play in quite some time as he battled through injuries during his junior season and I LOVED his motor, especially when you consider it was his first few games back. Issah makes good second and third efforts to contest shots on the perimeter and around the basket, sprints back hard to force ballhandlers to kick out to shooters in advantage situations, and has the requisite quickness/length/size blend to guard multiple spots for a New World team that suffered several injuries this weekend. The touch around the basket is still developing but has improved and he’s doing a much better job of fighting to dive to the rim to get into position for rebounds from the short corner or elbow areas. In an era that sees many frontcourt members allowing their offensive touches to impact their defensive and rebounding efforts, I love that Issah doesn’t let the game outcomes affect his motor. Interested to see how he is used and what flashes of skill development he will show once he has his legs under him during the upcoming live periods.

Made his presence felt on the glass on both ends, consistently crashing the boards and competing for every rebound. Around the paint, nothing came easy — he did a strong job protecting the rim, blocking and altering shots with his timing and activity. He also ran the floor well, adding value in transition with his effort and mobility.

brings imposing size at 6’8″ to Mt. Zion Academy. While specific skill details are not provided, his height and frame alone suggest significant potential as a post presence and rim protector, with room to develop both offensively and defensively as he matures.

DMV Live
-The Ghanian import exploded onto the scene in a big way at last week’s DMV Live Warmup Event in his first game on American soil. He flashed impressive athleticism, a good nose for the basketball, an aggressive style of play at both hands, and has the measurements to be a matchup nightmare. The form on his FTs is developing, as is his handle, but he has some serious upside as a slashing 3+D guy that has the tools to become a high level prospect. Loved the impact that he had on the game across the stat sheet in a big matchup with a SJC team that should be among the best in the area this season. Playing alongside a true center in Ibe should be great for his game as it slots him into a much more natural 3/4 position.
