Expert Analysis
Tom Keller | Prep Hoops Scout
Leet is an offensive juggernaut who has the ability to erupt at any moment with his diverse scoring arsenal. He is a dangerous perimeter threat with a quick-draw release, and he connected on multiple shots from beyond the arc throughout the game. His scoring instincts and confidence make him a constant threat whenever the ball is in his hands. Leet also did a nice job attacking the defense and earned trips to the foul line, where he added to his offensive production. Beyond his scoring, he showed that he can effectively play on the ball, serving as the maestro of the offense and keeping teammates involved. His court vision and decision-making allowed him to consistently create scoring opportunities for others, demonstrating that he is more than just a scorer. With his combination of shot-making, playmaking, and offensive creativity, Leet is a player who can impact the game in a variety of ways. He tracks as a scholarship prospect.

Leet connected frequently from behind the arc and was a threat off the catch and off the bounce. He shows some flashes of being able to wiggle to different spots off the bounce. I like the quick trigger release he has on his shot. He was successful at the foul line.

Leet put himself on the map this season with a breakout year for Methacton as the Warriors locked up the second seed in the District 1 6A tournament before bowing out in the semifinals. With the season on the line in his first extensive taste of state playoff action, the sophomore stepped up when it mattered most, delivering 16 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter as Methacton narrowly beat Whitehall in comeback fashion. He’s a skilled combo guard who really flourishes as a dynamic shotmaker from the perimeter. We’ll be eager to see him battle-tested against scholarship-level length and athleticism, with Leet projecting at the very least as a highly-coveted small-college prospect in due time.

Emerging as a real focal point for a Methacton team that earned the second seed in the district tournament, Leet is as productive a young backcourt prospect as there is in the district. He has solid size for a young guard with a spring in his step when he goes to work attacking off the bounce. Leet remains a threat without the ball in his hands as an efficient shooter off the catch from the perimeter. His game isn’t the sexiest but checks a lot of boxes from a skill standpoint with the production and physical requisites to be on scholarship radars when the time comes.

I like the way Leet moves without the basketball on the offensive end and how he creates scoring opportunities as an off-ball slasher. He has a natural feel for finding open space and timing his cuts well. His shooting mechanics are smooth and repeatable, and when his feet are set, there’s a high probability he connects from deep range. He also shows the ability to convert tough, contested shots, demonstrating touch and confidence as a scorer.
