Shaffer shows the ability to make an impact around the rim on both ends of the floor. He does a nice job jumping passing lanes and turning defense into offense with his activity. I like the skill he brings offensively, particularly his ability to face up and create opportunities when operating on the perimeter. Shaffer is a fundamentally sound player who also shows good timing when going up to block shots. He has flashed the ability to knock down shots from three, giving him another dimension to his offensive game.

The Lower Dauphin big man does it all on both ends of the floor for the Falcons. Shaffer is extremely versatile, as he guards multiple positions and has skill on the perimeter and inside the paint. He is very athletic and makes an impact with his constant hustle plays, a rarity for somebody of his size. His multiple effort attitude, versatility, and long frame are all reasons to believe that Shaffer will be a great player moving forward.
