Ra’Quan Alston has developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through basketball. He understands how to communicate with teammates, stay positive, and keep everyone focused during games. He leads by example by playing hard, staying disciplined, and encouraging others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, Ra’Quan Alston has faced challenges, especially being 5’10 in a game where many players are taller and more physical. This means he often has to work harder to create space, finish at the rim, and defend bigger opponents. Instead of letting that hold him back, he’s used it as motivation to improve his ball-handling, speed, and decision-making.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that is a good fit both academically and athletically. I want a school where I can continue to grow as a basketball player while also getting a strong education that prepares me for my future. Such as Duke, Michigan, Kansas and many other D1 colleges
