When it comes to impressive videos in the 2028 class I have been looking at in the upper midwest, you can count on one hand the video that I would say is as impressive as Delp’s. This is a player that has tools at 6’8 as a skilled face-up forward that most just don’t have. People talk about agility and apply it to getting to the rim and moving on defense, but people forget how well that connects with shooters to get open, and Delp uses his size and agility to set up shots so well. This is a 62/40/80 split shooter that does a great job getting open and then showing that range. Delp also has some of the better face-up forward with height handles that you will see.

— a true wing with next-level length and skill, and arguably one of the top long-term prospects in the 2028 class in the state. He’s taken over this season, putting his full game on display and helping lead St. John to a strong campaign so far. Offensively, Delp is becoming comfortable playing above the rim, whether in the half-court or in transition, finishing with a blend of power and finesse depending on the situation. He often attacks going to his left in isolation situations, using his frame to create space and absorb contact from defenders. As a shooter, he’s shown deep range and the ability to rise over defenders for pull-up opportunities. Look for Delp to finish the season strong, carrying momentum into the spring and summer.

Emmett is a long, skilled wing with a smooth shooting stroke and strong two-way upside. He’s highly efficient from beyond the arc, with a quick release that allows him to get his shot off in tight windows. Delp also shows the ability to attack closeouts effectively, using shot fakes and raises to get downhill. In the lane, he favors floaters and finishes well with his left hand, adding versatility to his scoring package. Defensively, Delp uses his length to great effect — consistently contesting shots on the perimeter and providing reliable rim protection from the wing position. With his shooting, length, and feel on both ends, Delp continues to emerge as a high-upside prospect, with his best basketball still ahead of him.

Delp is a skilled 6’5″ lefty guard with a smooth shooting stroke that ranks him among the best when it comes to knocking down shots. His size and touch make him a tough cover on the perimeter, but he’s far from one-dimensional. Delp can also put the ball on the floor and attack the lane with confidence, using his length and body control to finish over multiple defenders. Whether spotting up from deep or slicing through traffic, he brings a versatile offensive game that keeps defenses on edge.
