Coming off the bench, he once again energized Lewis-Palmer with his effort and awareness, finishing with 8 points and 7 rebounds in a strong all around performance. He has a knack for being in the right place at the right time, making smart plays that help swing momentum. Whether it’s securing a key rebound, finishing around the basket or making the extra hustle play, Darnell consistently finds ways to contribute. His energy off the bench gives the team a spark and provides the kind of winning plays that don’t always grab headlines

Darnell was the ultimate glue guy who’s scrappy presence impacted the game in ways that won’t show up in the box score but absolutely show up on the scoreboard. He did the dirty work, dove into traffic and never took a possession off. His motor was constant, especially on the offensive glass where he hunted down rebounds and extended possessions that turned into crucial points.
