Perez is a player who doesn’t have to have the ball to be effective in games. He grabbed rebounds, moved without the ball, and got out in transition. Perez is an off-ball mover who connects the offense. He is doing plenty of the dirty work that doesn’t get all of the attention but is making the right plays on the floor. This was a weekend of boosting his stock as an aggressive forward who used his body on finishes. Perez is a glue guy with size who fills gaps, and he played well for 7070 Athletics .

Perez made a noticeable impact with his defensive intensity and presence around the rim. He kept his hands active, contested every shot and used his awareness and length to disrupt opponents making it tough for them to score in the paint. On the boards he was relentless, securing rebounds on both ends and quickly turning them into scoring opportunities for his team. Offensively Perez contributed with strong put backs, smart positioning and reliable short range shots. His combination of defense, rebounding and efficient scoring around the rim made him a steady two way contributor who consistently impacted the game in multiple areas
