RTS Choice went undefeated on the weekend as one of the best defensive teams in their pool, and they got out and scored. Their top scorer on the weekend and one of the top players I saw all weekend was Caiden Castillo. Castillo was electric with the ball in his hands and lit it up. He attacked off the dribble, knocked down the 3-ball, and went on scoring runs all by himself. He's creative with the ball in his hands, and we got to see him as both a scorer and facilitator. He got to his spots in 1 on 1 situations, teams couldn't slow him down, and he's a big big reason that they went 4-0 on the weekend. More eyes should be on him as he was one of the MVPs on the weekend.

Solen was another prospect who caught my eye for RTS Choice and helped them get to a 4-0 record. A lot of what he does goes beyond the boxscore as he cuts to open he offense, is used as a slasher, and his versatility separates him. Castillo was attacking from spots and put pressure on rebounders as well as he crashed the boards and got up. He got to the FT line a ton by getting downhill, and he made the extra pass as well. He also provided great on-ball defense, where he moved his feet and stayed in front of his man. I liked his work as a facilitator and how he impacted the game in a multitude of ways. He's a solid player that I hope to see more of in that 2028 class.

Perez is a player who doesn't have to have the ball to be effective in games. He grabbed rebounds, moved without the ball, and got out in transition. Perez is an off-ball mover who connects the offense. He is doing plenty of the dirty work that doesn't get all of the attention but is making the right plays on the floor. This was a weekend of boosting his stock as an aggressive forward who used his body on finishes. Perez is a glue guy with size who fills gaps, and he played well for [program_tooltip program_id='2100026' first='7070' last='Athletics'].

Franchi first stands out due to his length and athleticism as he moves well and fluidly. He has a long and lean body and used it for easy finishes at the basket. He gave full on effort and was grabbing boards and protecting the paint. He's very active and constantly moving, and he protected the paint as well. Offensively, his game shifted in each game. He was scoring with his back to the basket, he had a few hook shot finishes, and kept plays alive. Abner boxes it out instead of just telling on his athleticism, and that helped out tremendously on the boards. He had a very solid game against RTS Choice, where he was up against another talented big man with floaters and runners from the dunker spot and working the middle. He's a player we want to see more of this summer, and as we transition into showcase season.

Fowler is a player who was a constant standout for [program_tooltip program_id='2100026' first='7070' last='Athletics'] Select this past weekend. He was finding holes in the defense as a slasher and getting behind the defense on outlet opportunities. He scored plenty of baskets in transition and occasionally shot the 3-ball as well, which I think he should hunt a bit more at times. Fowler is not a prospect who has to score to be effective, but does check off boxes as a facilitating wing who can mix it up. Stock boosting weekend for him who we hope to see more of.
