Lane elevated his game as a junior as that Falcon team won their conference and went 17-7 on the year, and he was one of their leaders. Falcon went on an impressive 14-game winning streak, and they put the ball in his hands and let him operate, and they rode the momentum from there. Lane opened up the floor with his 3-point shot, he hunted shots, and they made sure to ride the hot hand. Still, he remains a bit under the radar, and this is a year where he can change that. We want to continue seeing him being a scoring guard but also being able to dish it off to the open man and push the pace a bit more. There’s so much attention on him that being able to get others involved could open up the floor more for him as well. I am curious to see what the next step looks like for him as he certainly should be a player who is on more radars 

Lane is another player where it all clicked this season, and it shows with how much the game has slowed down for him. He played with great feel and control, consistently making the right reads and setting up teammates for open looks, highlighted by an eye catching assist off the backboard for an alley oop. He stayed poised but when it was time to be aggressive, he attacked the lane with confidence and finished plays himself. He dictated tempo, kept the offense flowing and made winning plays. Lane’s confidence, vision and ability to impact the game as both a scorer and playmaker made him one of the more impressive guards all weekend

Lane has been on my radar since last summer, and this season he proved he truly belongs. Dynamic with the ball in his hands, he knows how to create opportunities for himself and others while taking smart shots. A three level scorer, he can hurt defenses from anywhere on the floor. On the other end he brings consistent pressure, using active hands and a strong presence to disrupt opponents. Lane’s ability to attack, defend and make plays in both transition and half court settings shows he’s a complete player who can impact the game in multiple ways and one opponents can’t afford to overlook

Lane was sensational and easily could’ve been the best player on the court. He finished with 19 points and controlled pace, demanded the ball and made sure every possession had purpose. He hunted big moments confidently stepping into deep threes and knocking them down without hesitation, and instantly shifting the energy in gym. He pressured the ball full court, cut off driving lanes and used quick hands to poke balls loose, leading to key turnovers and transition chances. He rebounded in traffic, dove for loose balls, and constantly communicated. Lane was leading, competing on every possession and refusing to let Falcon go quietly

Lane has been the Falcons’ standout all season, averaging 13.7 points per game. This season he has taken a huge step forward in his scoring, attacking the rim and finding open spots to keep the offense flowing. With his point guard skills, he not only creates for himself but also sets up teammates, controlling the pace and rhythm. He’s coming off a season best 25 point performance against his opponent for the second round, showing he can take over games when it matters most. Lane’s leadership and scoring ability make him a key player to watch in the playoffs

Lane is really coming into his own at Falcon, showing steady growth and command of his game. As the team’s floor general, he sets the tone and gets the offense organized, making the right reads and keeping everyone involved. Averaging a career high 13.4 points per game, he’s proven himself as a reliable scorer with a confident jumper and consistent three point touch. What separates Lane is his poise with the ball, decision making under pressure and leadership. His ability to control tempo while producing offensively is why he’s climbing the rankings

Lane will lead Falcon this season after a summer built on constant progression and a growing command of the game. As a combo guard he controls pace with maturity by initiating offense, pushing transition and keeping his team organized. Off the ball he’s equally effective with finding his spots, relocating with intent and opening the floor for others. His defensive growth has also elevated his stock, showing improved discipline and the ability to stay attached to opposing playmakers. With his trajectory pointing upward, Lane has become a reliable, versatile impact player every night

Kamrin had his moments as a sophomore as he got in the game and started to pop as the season progressed. He’s a guard who attacks the paint, runs the offense, and was a very active defender that made opposing guards work. He now steps into a situation where he will be asked to do a bit more offensively and add pieces to his game on a Falcon team that everyone will be gunning for. This is a spot for him to explore his game, have those moments where he turns defense into offense, and runs the passing lanes for fastbreak opportunities. This is a spot for him to show a bit more so that we can firmly put him on our radar. 

For Falcon, this past season was about Kamrin Lane Kamrin Lane 5'11" | SG/PG Falcon | 2027 State CO finding his rhythm, and by year’s end, he did. Lane is a combo guard who can play on or off the ball, and became a reliable scorer who spaces the floor, pushes tempo, and thrives in transition. Defensively, he stays active and creates plays. He’s gone from watch list name to a player making real noise heading into this season and has some momentum.

Lane proved once again why he’s the kind of point guard every team wants running the show. His performance this weekend was a display of skill, leadership, and impact on both ends of the floor. Offensively, Lane was a true floor general—using his vision to create scoring opportunities for teammates while also stepping up when needed, whether it was knocking down a timely three or attacking the lane for a tough finish. Defensively, he was locked in on his assignments, applied consistent pressure, and forced difficult shots throughout the weekend. What truly set him apart, though, was his leadership. He consistently uplifted and guided younger teammates, keeping them engaged and helping elevate their level of play.
