Murry is a player we have high expectations for heading into the season and there is plenty of reason to believe he is ready for a breakout year at Falcon. After averaging 8.3 points and 4.4 rebounds last season he enters this year looking capable of taking his game to another level. Throughout the summer his athleticism was on full display, particularly with his explosiveness around the basket and ability to finish above the rim. With another year of experience and an opportunity to become a bigger offensive weapon Murry has the tools to make some serious noise this season

Murry was one of the most exciting players to watch all tournament, bringing nonstop energy and an aggressive mindset every time he stepped on the floor. He attacked with confidence, constantly looking to make a play whether it was getting downhill, finishing above the rim, or creating momentum changing moments. His athleticism stood out, playing as a high flyer who thrived in transition and around the basket. He never took a possession off, staying active and involved on both ends. Defensively his energy translated into pressure and disruption. With his motor, explosiveness and playmaking instincts, Murry consistently made his presence felt and impacted winning

Murray finally makes it into the rankings this go-round, and he seems to have found a groove. He’s finally playing, and now that he’s back, there’s been another reliable scorer to go to. He’s a volume scorer who is assertive offensively. He gets to his spots, he’s capable of extending the floor, and he also makes it a point to get to the FT line. He’s also been one of the team’s top rebounders, and that makes them a bit more dynamic. He makes a push in the rankings and is a player we certainly want to see more to finish the year and over the Summer and Fall. He’s on our radar.

Murry was one of the weekend’s biggest surprises. His presence was felt on both ends of the floor with relentless energy and all around impact. Defensively he was tough while locking in on man-to-man assignments. While also flying around the court to disrupt passing lanes and create turnovers.
