‘s numbers might not jump out at first as jaw-dropping, although his improvement from the 24-25’ season has been groundbreaking, and a huge reason for Palmer Ridge’s success. Transforming his game from just 2.6 PPG, 1.9 RPG, and 0.7 APG, to now this season: 9 PPG, 4.1 RPG, and 1.4 SPG speaks volumes to his dedication to getting better. Mulloy is effective off-the-dribble and commands attention offensively. Defenses have a hard time figuring out Mulloy’s unpredictability, and that’s what makes him so dynamic as a whole.
Mulloy made one of the biggest jumps in the entire rankings with the way that he was able to play this summer. He’s a bucket that can get going and doesn’t slow down once he gets going. He is a microwave scorer that shoots the 3-ball, finishes at the rim, and also has a mid-range game as well which frees him up for easy baskets. He was able to show that for 7070 Athletics
and truly had one of the best showings that we had at our showcase this summer. He is constantly moving, looking to make plays happen, and he makes up one of my favorite backcourts in the state that I think is going to turn a few heads this season. Mulloy is a player to watch and should be on a few more radars. Don’t let me down, Keegan.
Mulloy is a player we wanted to see more of so it was great that he got out to the showcase and he had himself a day. Mulloy had one of the strongest 3-on-3 showings, scoring at will with mid-range pull-ups, contested threes, and aggressive drives. What I liked is that he did not force the issue, but rather allowed the game to come to him, and his teammates fed him because he was willing to pass and do the little things, and they made sure to return the favor. In 3-on-3 one game he went 6-of-7 in a stretch against a tough defender, flashing iso creativity. In 5-on-5, while the scoring slowed down a bit he still showed a complete game. He cut without the ball, spaced the floor, and even initiated offense. Mulloy’s blend of scoring and feel for the game impressed as he’s a player we leave the event very high on.
Mulloy is a multi-sport athlete who brings his motor and conditioning to the court. At 6’2″, he uses his length well, stays active, and doesn’t need plays called for him to be effective. He stays involved by rebounding, defending, and making hustle plays. While not overly aggressive offensively, he lets the game come to him and consistently finds ways to contribute as a catalyst. I like what I have seen from him, and he will make his debut in the rankings.
Mulloy had a standout showing over the weekend, making his presence felt on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he was a force in transition and every time he had the ball in the open court, something good happened. He pushed the pace with purpose, keeping defenders on their heels, and either found his shot or dished it off to an open teammate for an easy bucket. When he wasn’t bringing it up, he stayed super active while consistently moving, cutting to the hoop, and putting himself in the right spots to make plays. On the defensive end, Mulloy was just as impressive. His closeout game was next level. Shooters would think they had space for a clean look, and out of nowhere, Mulloy would appear to get a hand up to contest, make a deflection, or straight up coming away with a steal. He read the game really well and always seemed to be one step ahead. Overall, it was a well rounded, high energy performance that showed just how valuable he is on both sides of the ball
